Our love of Brittanys first began with a family pet called Eddie. We'd never seen a dog with so much energy and lust for life, and she made the perfect addition to our home. What an impact she made on our lives!
We recently had an opportunity to purchase our first pedigree Brittany, and jumped at the opportunity. 'Pepper' continued on our experience with Brittany and proved to be equally well rounded and eager personality.
We aim to breed from her and her offspring moving forward, and will be looking to produce sound, all-round Brittanys, with excellent confirmation, and the biddable, fun loving nature these dogs are renowned for.
Our dogs live with us in our home, indoors and out, thrive on their Raw Meaty Bones (RMB) diet, and are wonderfully active and healthy, with loving and inquisitive dispositions.

Our love for this breed started at a young age when we had a Brittany and we grew up with her Hunting and she became part of our family.
These days we have Ginger and Mixi who are from french lines.
They are great around kids and love to exercise .They are the perfect all round hunting dog and they are the warmest companion.

Skyhuntr Brittany’s is small scale kennel who focuses on breeding quality not quantity.
Our love of Brittany’s began when we first became involved in the breed in 2008, when Artie joined our family. From there we were hooked on the breed.
In 2014 we added Astro to our pack. Titled at 14 months and in training to be gundog while showing we were hunting and showing on the same weekends.
In 2017, Skye was added to the pack. Skye titled by 9 months old before moving onto obedience, agility and field work
2022 Eden joined the pack. Eden is a daughter to Astro and Skye’s second litter. While young we have been showing and training to be a gundog.
We have 10+ years of obedience instructors with our local dog club.)
10+ years in field work training and working into tracking and scent work.
We believe that Brittany’s should be utilised in a role (obedience, agility, retrieving or fieldwork etc) as they love working for their owners and have a brilliant mind for learning but equally we believe that they should be right at home on the couch watching tv at the end of the day.

Here at Valleyriver Kennels we have 5 beautiful boys available. 3 red, 1 brindle and 1 very dark. They will be ready for their new homes around the 9/10 November which is perfect timing as they will have had all their vax and be ready for adventures in time for the holidays!. Both mums and dads are Valleyriver dogs that are DNA tested clear and their families known going back many generations with each mating planned carefully over the years to produce what we believe is the best combination of temperament, health and conformation.
