At Frecklewyn we believe that welsh springers are not just beautiful - they are also excellent dog sport competitors and all-round wonderful companions. Our foundation bitch, Ch Mycroft My Bridie ,is currently competing successfully in Obedience and Rally, and has enjoyed introductory training in Tracking and Retrieving. Bridie is also outstanding at demanding pats and cuddling on the lounge! We believe that any breeding program should seek to produce dogs of excellent temperament, conformation and health. We are particularly concerned with reducing the risk of inheritable diseases, and thus ensure all relevant health tests have been done prior to breeding.

Featherdale Welsh Springer Spaniel Kennels was established in 1988 and resides in Goulburn NSW. Welshies have been a part of our lives for over 30 wonderful years. During that time we have achieved amazing success, while only showing sparingly. We have bred Best of Breed winners of the Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra Royal Shows, as well as winning 3 times Best in Show at the Welsh Springer Spaniel Club NSW. Winning multi Best in Group and multi Classes in Show & In Group awards and our beautiful Delilah won BEST OF BREED AT 2016 SYDNEY ROYAL EASTER SHOW beating an impressive line up of past winners. We are a small family kennel which only breed occasionally. Our breed pool, to date, incorporates Champion English bloodlines with a blend of impressive New Zealand and American lines. We strive to breed to the UK standard with our Welshies having beautiful rich red & white coats, strong, but elegant heads, and wonderful reach & drive. All our dogs, of course, are health checked. Llanrhos is a small kennel situated on the Mid North Coast of NSW.I have been lucky to have these wonderful dogs in my life for over 10 years.My kennel's foundation bitch BIS. CH.Lornelane Lady on Stage has exceeded all my expectations with her achievements in the show ring and has proven her quality passing on her type and wonderful temperament to her puppies.Her daughter and grandaughter are part of the Llanrhos story and continue to show her quality. Breeding stock is hip and elbow scored and eye screened including testing for Gondiogensis.Breeding only occasionally,aiming to the breed standard, striving for excellent type and temperament for wonderful companions.

At the tender age of approximately 13 years he won a Speciality Best in Show under the well known and respected Gundog Specialist Stephanie Rickard. He is now enjoying retirement on that high note and providing guidance to his progeny. Tia- Tal's daughter, also an in show and in group winner is about to return from maternity leave. Treasure (AI) - the new addition to the family from Tia and Statesman Spectacular Bid (USA) has already won a few Baby in show and group and will be giving her best to achieve greatness and will try and better the results her mother and grandfather have been able to achieve.

We currently have: 1 boy, brindle 1 boy, black and white 2 girls, black and white They are pictured in the photos to the left. They are vaccinated, microchipped, have toilet training foundations and are ready to go to their new familes now. We are located in Sydney and can transport interstate. We put so much love and effort into breeding and raising the very best puppies, and giving our owners incredibly thorough support. This includes: * Each of our puppies go through our 'Super Puppy Program'. This is a specialised training and socialisation program that we have developed to give each puppy the very best start to life. * New puppy owners are provided with a comprehensive puppy preparation checklist, with an abundance of resources. * We provide 10 weeks of one on one support with a dog trainer, through phone calls/Zoom. We provide finance options, including 24 month payment plans, Afterpay and credit card facilities.

Dusty is a 3 1/2 mth male. We've decided he will fall short of our breeding and show criteria and is looking for his best match pet home. Parents have been breed panel DNA tested and progeny will not be at risk for DM and PRA. Our Mums are minimum 2yo+ and mature physically and mentally, before carefully considering breeding, or not. We are here to support our homes and will take back any dog, at any stage throughout life. Puppies are whelped and raised within the family home using protocols from several puppy raising programs, tactile learning exposure opportunities, experiences and interactions. Puppies leave us at 9 weeks old on average and are matched to homes based on temperament and home type. We aim to place puppies once, and well.
