ALCLARE KENNELS est 1976. We are a small family kennel, we have exhibited and breed Irish Setters and Collies in the past and then fell in love with Welsh Springer Spaniels, we purchased our first bitch in 1990 and from then on there has been no looking back, and couldn't imagine life without a welsh. With many years experience with exhibiting dogs and the knowledge gained though the Diploma in Applied Science Animal Technology majoring in genetics and advanced breeding techniques, we are looking forward to the future. We are a small kennel based in Melbourne where our dogs are part of our family. Our family consist of two adults, two children and three fur babies. We have been involved in the Welshie breed since 2013, but Rebecca has been around dogs all of her life. The dog breeds Rebecca has owner are Dobermans, Rough coated collies, Fox Terriers, Jack Russell terriers. Here at Ausspring Kennels we love nothing more than to spend time with our fur babies weather that be Showing, Tracking, obedience training, bush walking or at the beach swimming. Our Welshies are first and foremost our loving and loyal companions in life. We aim to breed Welsh Springer Spaniels with beauty, intelligence and soundness of body and temperament. All of our dogs are health tested.

We are excited to announce that we are expecting puppies to arrive on New Year’s Eve! SIRE: INT. CH. Both parents have fantastic health results and all puppies from this litter will be health tested prior to leaving for their forever homes, including Aces Eye Test, Bile Acid Test and DNA profiled. They are also vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed. Copies of all health tests are provided to new owners. Our aim is to breed happy, healthy long-living dogs that are of sound mind and body. Puppies will be raised in our home following the Puppy Culture protocols. This comprehensive socialisation and training program is based on the premise that ‘the puppy always leads the learning and puppies learn best by appropriate experiences at the appropriate time’. This includes providing the puppies with exposure to a variety of experiences which will give them a solid foundation for developing into confident, well-adjusted dogs.
