An owner and lover of the Anatolian Shepherd Dog since 1998 we have new imported lines from Turkish, Australian, French and American dogs, we are also looking into more new bloodlines for our kennel. We breed for health, temperament and soundness and our imports and breeding dogs are all heath tested.
If our dogs are happy in the show ring and the travelling that goes with it we love to show the breed and have produced a few champions over the years.
We only breed occasionally and are always here for our puppy owners. We also love visitors on arrangement to come and see our dogs at our farm.
we are taking expressions of interest in our litter planned for late Jan/early Feb 2024

Welcome to Kuvana

I have loved Çoban Köpegi (Anatolian Shepherd Dog) since my first encounter in 1991 when I met a large female ASD here in New Zealand, named Beaver.

I have owned Anatolian Shepherd Dogs since 2002, I am devoted to this powerful livestock guardian with upstanding lion dog physique and Coban Kopegi character.
My dogs are a part of my family. I have embarked on a journey that is my dream and passion and I endeavor to uphold the correct statue, exterior and temperament of the Anatolian Shepherd Dog.

I am very proud to have imported my foundation bitch NZ Ch Kazana Basarii Akiva Kuva from The Czech Republic Kennel Kazana. She has the fabulous champion and traditional working Turkish Shepherd dog heritage bloodlines from Kangal Kennel, Onur Kanli in Turkey And Du Bonnie Blue Flag, Anne Hupel, France.

Imp. Aus to NZ Ch Takas Mufasa Stone.
Stone possess outstanding working stock protection heritage and champion lines.

Import semen from USA Bison Aslandar Goutte Noire.

Imp Bitch Aus to NZ Pasakangal Aykiz.

We will go to great lengths to provide our clients with the best suitable puppy to their home environment whether a family or guardian dog purpose. We ensure that we match the needs of the new owner with the right puppy.

A granddaughter of an Australian grazier, a grandson of a Turkish farmer, and a harmonious balance of love for livestock, the land and working dogs (as well as enjoyment and great success in the sport of Dog Showing!).

The word Tribocie is a namesake to our first working sheep dogs, three border collies. Our heritage and our cultural ties led us to the Shepherd Dogs of Turkey. We have travelled to family properties, and toured widely across Turkey, Cyprus and Europe researching the dogs and their shepherds, looking to diversify and strengthen the breed here in Australia. This is where Tribocie spans two properties; a 100 acre working property, and another in the Hawkesbury. It is here that we can breed and raise dogs on the land, for the land.

Being a family kennel we can also shape suitable pups to be people oriented companions. Many of our breeding are adaptable enough to work with stock, enjoy the company of their family and tear up the show ring all in a days work.

Tribocie is home to:

-Australia's Number 1 Anatolians since 2012 (DOL)

-Working Dogs (real ones)

-The FIRST and ONLY All Breeds BEST IN SHOW winning Anatolian in Australia

-Australia's ONLY active working Anatolian who is also a BISS and RUBIS (all breeds) winner

-Multiple Best In Specialty Show and Runner Up In Specialty Show Anatolians including 2016 USA National BISS winner AM GR CH Tribocie Puck!

Please contact us for more information on our dogs or Anatolians in general. Farm visits welcomed.

I've been owning and exhibiting ANKC dogs since 1979 but interested in Anatolians since 1990.

Home of past and present dogs whom I consider to be very good examples of the breed in type and temperament.

I've been fortunate enough to have travelled extensively visiting other breeders around the world and to be involved with importing new lines into Australia in the form of live dogs and semen on my own and in conjunction with other like minded breeders.

I enjoy conformation showing and also obedience work with my dogs but I find they are happiest when with their poultry and horses!

I am located in south-east Queensland and have puppies available to approved homes occasionally.

All my pups are extensively handled and humanised from birth with a view to producing family pets and guardians.

Please feel free to contact me for information about this breed on email at [email protected]. Better still come and see the dogs in the flesh!

Elmaada Kennels are located in the farming district of the Coal River Valley, Southern Tasmania.

Having owned the breed for over 20 years, we acknowledge breed traits based on health, soundness and versatility. Comarkaan Saffiya is a working Guardian protecting livestock on our small hobby farm. Animals include rare breed sheep, poultry, cattle, pigs, and a miniature pony. Her diversity also extends to the house yard where she is more than capable of looking after an array of domestic pets. She recognises every single charge on our property and ensures animals under her protection never stray in the wrong direction.

We have had previous success in the show ring with Aust. Champion Cappadocia Miss BHaven (now deceased). Our love for the breed started with a bitch from Korumak Kennels (Korumak Miss Rhuagh) in 1999 / 2000, who was a devoted family guardian.

Puppies will be occasionally available.

Any enquiries are more than welcome.

At Torrya Corgis, the happiness, health, and lifestyle of our beautiful dogs and their adorable puppies are our top priority.

We currently have both male and female (Show and Pet Quality), eagerly awaiting their forever families.

Our puppies have beautiful temperaments, carefully bred with structural soundness in mind. They are extensively health tested, ensuring you take home a happy, healthy, and high-quality puppy. We house-raise our puppies, providing them with everything they need and deserve from birth. By working closely with reproductive specialist vets, we ensure they receive the best nutrition, soft warm blankets, plenty of stimulating toys, and, of course, lots of love and cuddles. When our puppies are ready for their forever homes, they have experienced:

Worming at 2, 4, 6, & 8 weeks
Vet Checks & Vaccinations
Microchipping
DNA Health Testing
Confidently Eating Solids
Bathing, Grooming & Nail Trimming
Exposure to Other Animals & Noises
Crate Training
Registration with Dogs QLD (ANKC)

Breeding Cardigans is more than just a hobby; it's our passion. We cherish our dogs, and their well-being is the focal point of every decision we make. We breed very selectively for quality, not quantity, and when you take home a Torrya puppy, we are always just a phone call away.

My breeder status can be verified via the Dogs NSW website.

Two Litters expected Early August, 2024 and 1 planned for Mid September (possibly spoken for if small litter number). Brindle, Tricolours, Merles.
Parents have been breed panel DNA tested and progeny will not be at risk for DM and PRA. We are here to support our homes and take back any dog, at any stage throughout life, if needed. We're about right homes first time around and endeavour to place pups once, and well.

Puppies are whelped and raised within the family home using protocols from several puppy raising programs, tactile learning exposure opportunities, experiences and interactions. Puppies leave us at 9 weeks old on average. We adapt for each litters' requirements and progress is available to view on our Facebook page/group updates.

We encourage you to view our Facebook kennel page for litter updates and as an insight into our breeding ethos here at Giandarra. Email enquiry to [email protected] or mobile 0448 438 878. Enquiry welcome.

2024 litters are expected to see brindle, sable, red, Tricolour and Blue merle puppies from imported and resident Stud bloodlines.

Our dogs are very much a part of our home and daily life on our rural working farm. We also actively show a team of dogs throughout the year.
