At Amara Chihuahuas, we take immense pride in being a small boutique kennel that prioritizes quality over quantity. Our Chihuahuas are lovingly raised in our home and are considered cherished members of our family.
As a Dogs New Zealand Accredited Breeder, we are fully committed to breeding Chihuahuas to the highest standard, with exceptional conformation and temperament. Our dogs undergo rigorous DNA testing and comprehensive health checks to ensure they are free from known breed issues, such as heart, eyes, and patella problems.
We are thrilled to breed Chihuahuas that are not only breathtaking in appearance but also structurally sound and possess wonderful temperaments. Through importing a substantial number of quality dogs, we are able to selectively breed from pedigrees of top kennels worldwide. In fact, we have imported the most new lines into New Zealand and currently have 7 imported dogs in our kennel, including 1 from Bramver's in Japan, 5 from Cheekychi in Australia, and 1 from Countrychi in Australia. We are wholeheartedly dedicated to continually improving our lines and the breed as a whole and actively collaborate with likeminded breeders who share our vision.

Trulore was established in 2003.
We do not have 'kennels' as such and Chihuahua babies are available only occasionally to loving family homes.

Tonichi is situated on 3 acres of trees, gardens and grasslands. The chihuahuas love to run free in their large runs. Puppies are played with, groomed and recieve showring training daily. They also love to sit by the fire at night and watch TV with us.
Breeding and successfully showing Chihuahuas for over 40 years.
Tonichi Chihuahuas are proud to have owned the FIRST Grand Champion titled Chihuahua in Australia.

hi i have been breeding chihuahuas as a registered breeder since the beginning of 2009 with dogs west the canine association of wa . all my chihuahuas are bought up in a loving well socialised environment around normal household noises and as much affection as possible . they are able to roam in my safe fenced backyard or in safe courtyards on 5 acres with myself my husband and 4 children .My aim is to breed quality soundness and personality health is the most important thing not size .Im hoping to put some of my of my own bred pups to the show ring in the future ,but if it takes away from giving love its not my top priority .Remember any dog may be show quality and you don't know that until you show it . Please take note i only want my pups to go to the best homes i can possibly find so if you don't want to let me know anything about you please don't bother contacting me ,namely puppy farmers or people looking for a teacup chihuahuas (no such thing } if size is your main concern not health and welfare don't bother you will find them forsale with scammers or puppy farms .

We at BERNEDALE, are super excited to announce our impending litter, which will be our first since 2022.
With over a quarter of a century of breed experience behind us, we anticipate the arrival of both rough & smooth coated puppies, some of which may be made available to approved family homes.
We do not breed solely to sell puppies, primarily we only plan a litter when there is something we wish to keep ourselves from a particular sire & dam!
As such, all our litters are planned with much consideration given to an extended history & record of good health, plus hip & elbow scores of both the sire & dam.
All our babies will be wormed regularly, they will have had both their front & rear dew claws removed, they will be microchipped, DNA profiled, vaccinated, vet checked & registered with Dogs QLD.
When you purchase a Bernedale puppy, you own it outright & we make no further demands on that puppy, other than ask you to keep in touch!
Occasionally a puppy may go out on breeders terms, of which there will be no fees incurred whatsoever!
All our puppies go to their new homes with a very extensive care manual & we offer life long support, we take no deposits & keep no waiting lists; our puppies go to those that express the most interest and we believe can provide them with the best home.
