CELERITY

At Celerity we are the only shih tzu kennel in New Zealand who have either bred or owned three generations of Best in Show (All Breeds). We are also very proud of shih tzu born here at Celerity who are RBIS (All Breeds) winners namely RBIS NZ Ch Celerity One Step Ahead and BISS RBIS NZ Ch Shihghan Moment in Time From Celerity (co bred with Shihghan Kennels) owned by J Townsend. We are also co breeders of RBIS & PIS NZ Ch Celerity Yankee Magic (co bred with her owner H Newton). We plan our matings very carefully so we can produce puppies with superb health and temperament that have been well socialised, we also consider our babies to be outstanding quality hence why they have been in great demand by other breeders and our show record certainly speaks for itself. Over half the shih tzu listed on dogzonline we have either owned or bred the dogs that feature in their pedigrees. Please do not hesitate to contact us for a Celerity baby, we are a little more careful than before where they are placed but if you love this beautiful breed as we do we are still approachable for enquiries regarding a puppy for show/breeding. CARAGLEN

Situated in Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty in the North Island of New Zealand, I'm enjoying this delightfully cheeky breed of dog immensely. I breed shih tzu for type and temperament. After all, what is the point of breeding lovely dogs with bad temperaments. I do love showing my dogs but do not attend every show. Especially as I work full time and have other interests. I breed to show but can only keep one out of a litter so therefore I am willing to sell potential show quality puppies to the right home. I am producing solid coloured shih tzu, gold, brindle and white ,black, black and white and of course gold and white. I have been very fortunate to have several very successful lines in my pedigrees from other kennels. And acknowledge that without their lines I wouldn't have the dogs I have today. These include Santosha. Xeralenes.Macardo. Samlhamo and Jaztzu to name a few. I would be happy to send a puppy to Australia to be shown, on an unrestricted register, in consultation. 'Paddington Shih Tzu' holds the New Zealand record of producing the most Shih Tzu to date, who have won BEST IN SHOW Allbreeds! 3 homebred 'Paddington' Shih Tzu hold this prestigous honor, one going on to become NZ's latest GRAND CHAMPION - NZ GR CH PADDINGTON POKIT FUL O POSIES, very fondly known to me as 'Sophie' xx She still reigns as NZ's most successful Shih Tzu Bitch to date, setting an incredible benchmark for other Bitches in NZ to strive for! (Sleep well my beautiful princess) 9 of my Shih Tzu have won PUPPY IN SHOW! (CH shows) 5 of these are homebred 'Paddington' Shih Tzu! 2 of my homebred Shih Tzu have each won 3rd equal at the prestigious Sth Island SUPREME SHOW DOG CONTESTS! Our success hasn't stopped with Shih Tzu, l own the first Lhasa Apso bred in NZ to attain the title of Grand Champion - Dougal NZ GRAND CHAMPION MANJURI GINGERBREAD MAN! TUAMA

I have a small kennel based in Tauranga. I am planning on breeding one of my girls at the end of the year, start to 2025 expecting black and white, gold and white and possibly brindle and white puppies. Taking names now for wait list, deposits are not taken until puppies are at least three weeks old. Both parents have been shown and have New Zealand and Australian behind them.
