We are Nyahridge, ANKC registered breeders of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, located in Dixons Creek, Victoria. Also home to 'A Dogs Domain and Cats too' dog boarding and cattery, amongst the Yarra Valley.

Our journey started in 2017 when we were introduced to Greg and Rowhin from Zambuana Lodge, NSW when we purchased our very first Ridgeback. We haven't looked back since and look forward to continuing our great relations with them throughout the years.

Our aim is to follow on with the years of knowledge and breed experience and to breed some beautiful Ridgebacks in both sound quality and temperaments.

Breeding for Type, Temperament and Soundness since 1995.

We have been Showing and Breeding Rhodesian Ridgebacks for 30 years, producing multiple Champions, Grand Champions, Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show winners. In saying that, our dogs are a loved part of our family first and foremost. They have stolen not just our couches and our bed, but our hearts.

At Otesha Rhodesian Ridgebacks, we don't have time to build commercial looking websites, because when we aren't working to support our dogs we are spending time with them, they're our fur-family. We don't have a regular abundance of puppies, as we are not running a kennel, our dogs are our loved pets.

However when we do breed, all our Ridgebacks are x-rayed and scored for Hip & Elbow Dysplasia prior to the breeding taking place. They are also DNA tested for Degenerative Myelopathy (Clear) & JME (Clear).
Our puppies live inside our house where they learn to be part of the family and leave our home vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and come with an 18kg bag of food, bowl, collar & lead, bed, cuddle teddy, toys, treats, worming tablet and an information booklet.
More importantly you receive true lifetime support which includes phone, message and email support, and free training sessions for anyone who lives within an hour travel, or is willing to travel to us.

Kamania Rhodesian Ridgebacks are located in Bendigo Victoria.

I have been involved with this Majestic breed since 1995 but, it all started in the mid 70's when I was much younger. My Uncle introduced me to his Rhodesian Ridgeback- via film and photos, from when he lived and worked in Rhodesia, (now Zimbabwe) with the locals and their families. I fell instantly in love at the beauty of his dog 'Caesar' and the wonderful stories he would tell me.

As it would turn out- 20 years later, when I was to purchase my first dog, it had to be a Rhodesian Ridgeback.

My first 3 Rhodesian Ridgebacks have since gone to the Rainbow Bridge and it is their qualities I strive to achieve in my breeding program.

Exceptional temperament, soundness and beauty are the key elements to selectively produce the occasional litter- either for the show ring or for loving family pets. All dogs used for breeding have had their hips and elbows x-rayed and scored. Also a full DNA profile is done for each dog prior to breeding to check for health issues that can affect Rhodesian Ridgebacks- i.e. DM (Degenerative Myelopathy), JME (Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy). Puppies are checked at birth (and then weekly) for Dermoid Sinus. Full breeder support is given to each and every puppy bred by me, I am always available to answer any questions or help out when needed.

Shangoridge are currently taking expressions of interest while they excitedly await their expected up and coming litter due at the end of August.

Both parents have been hip/ elbow scored with excellent results, as well as having their DNA profiling done and being clear of JME and DM. Both Vin and Inka have lovely temperaments, Inka proved to be an exceptional mum to her first litter and absolutely adores babies be it her own litter or someone else’s. We have been involved with showing and breeding our Rhodesian Ridgebacks for 15 years, only breeding occasionally. Our puppies are raised on our rural property in our home along with our adult dogs and children. Shangoridge puppies come with ANKC registration, are wormed every two weeks and receive their first Vaccinations. Each Shangoridge puppy comes with a puppy pack containing all their documentation and informative guide to raising a Shangoridge puppy along with a few toys, treats and extras to help puppies settle into their new homes, with ongoing breeder support.
