A small select kennel located in Wollongong, rarely breeding, only to supplement our own stock. Our dogs are bred for type and of course, temperament, as we believe no matter how good a dog is in the show ring, if it doesn't have a sound temperament then it shouldn't be considered in a breeding program. All of our dogs are x-rayed for hip and elbow dysplasia and also DNA tested for degenerative myelopathy. All enquiries are welcome. No litters expected until 2022

We have been showing & breeding Ridgebacks since 1985.Being a small kennel we rarely breed,breeding only to supplimenting our own stock.We have had great sucsess in the show ring.Ridgebacks owned or bred by us, have had wins at National,Specialty & Sydney Royals Easter Shows.Our dogs are foremost members of the family but we also enjoy going to Shows together.

Marandela Rhodesian Ridgebacks we are situated on 10 acres in the beautiful Bonville Valley, just south of Coffs Harbour, NSW. Our foundation dogs Ch Chilolo CBA Ruby Image(AI)ET RUBISS and Ch Chilolo MCR Tao on Fire(AI) ET. TD BISS were bred by widely respected Ridgeback breeder/International judge Rosemary Green. Marandela's first litter produced Ch Marandela Saltwater Pearl(AI) who thrilled us by winning Baby Puppy in Show at the National RR Show in Brisbane 2014. Ruby's 2nd litter produced Ch Marandela Wot Happens in Vegas who won Best in Show at the Victorian Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialty 2019. Our dogs are Conformation Champions, have Tracking titles and dabble in Lure Coursing and Agility. Puppies are raised on a premium diet, in a healthy environment with plenty of space for supervised exercise/play. They are regularly checked for dermoid sinus, Vet checked,microchipped, vaccinated, wormed regularly and well socialised prior to going to their new homes. We follow Puppy Culture Protocols. We strive for type, temperament and soundness, our dogs are hip and elbow scored, screened for Degenerative Myelopathy(DM), Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy(JME), Heart certified by a Cardiologist and screened for Early Onset Adult Deafness (EOAD) We support puppy buyers for the life of the puppy. We are Addam Barter and Lee Fletcher, the partnership that brought our Ridgeback and Rottweiler Family together and forms Juzival. We health test all breeding stock and adhere to the strict rules and regulations put in place of the various breed club we belong to. We do have available delightful, friendly, sweet temperament, quality female puppies with excellent ridges ready for their new homes. They have had 2 sets of Vaccinations, micro chipped, fully wormed, registered with ANKC. Both parents are hip and elbow x-rayed grade A. DNA health tested for genetic diseases both clear non-carriers. Our puppies are raised in the home. Temperament and health are a priority. All of our puppies and adult dogs are well socialised and have great personalities and temperaments. Reluctantly, I am looking for a new forever home for my gorgeous Zuri (Australian Ch Rijstone Wyndrunhrs Rubys Gift (AI)) She is 6 years old, fit, trim and very healthy, has recently had a litter of pups and been desexed. She has a big outgoing cheeky personality. She is used to being with other ridgebacks and has lived inside and outside but now prefers to be inside and being amongst daily family life. She will either need the company of another ridgeback or people who are mainly home. She is very affectionate and craves attention. She is crate and toilet trained. She loves going for walks. She is excellent with people and children and may ok with other breeds of dogs if introduced slowly. No cats and Zuri has never been around one. Having made a decision as to which of my gorgeous boys I am going to go on with from my last (after 40 years) Ridgeback litter, I am making Doc (Isilwane I Am The Future) available for sale. He is a 12 month old very handsome Liver nose boy, from fully tested parents. He has been rotating between my place (semi rural) and a good friend's (suburban surrounds), he is lead trained (slip collar and lead - no harnesses), crate trained, house trained, socialised with lots of other breeds including his Staffy girlfriend Millie, whippets, German Shepherds. He has also been shown with success (happy to consider someone who'd like to bond with him and take him out again - he doesn't like to be rushed). He is very well behaved in the house and was easily taught the boundary of the kitchen when goes on his visits, knows what "on your bed" means and loves bounding onto the bed in the morning for a smooch. Good with kids. Hasn't been around cats. He would do really really well with a companion but also fine if on his own with great humans in his life. This is not a rescue/rehouse situation. He is for sale and we have put a great deal of time and effort into making sure he has the best training (as has his brother) ready for when I made this decision. He is up to date on worming and vaccinations. Happy to do the move to a new home over time with visits and sleepovers to acclimatise him to a new home & family.
