VEDAMEA Smooth Collies are professional breeders, established in 1979 and reared on five acres of lush green paddocks at the foot of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. Now calling the stunning 7 mile beaches of Lake Cathie on the NSW Mid North Coast out home; our Collies run free with lots of fresh air and sunshine and pristine coastal landscapes to bound around in a happy and well-adjusted lifestyle. A wholesome natural diet produces sound and healthy animals. Our experience and appreciation for the value of a true working dog is linked to our strong rural roots. Although most breeds today are not required to work as such, we believe retaining this working ability is essential to produce Collies suitable as show dogs, for obedience or just simply good companions - healthy in body and spirit.

Puppies have been bred with health and diversity in mind, blending European and older Australian bloodlines with excellent soundness and longevity. Both parents have been tested through the UC Davis VGL Canine Genetic Diversity test and health tested through Wisdom Panel (265+ health tests).
Due to European show line influence, pups have dark markings and will develop into substantial dobes with plenty of bone and substance
Pups will be well suited as family companions in addition to excelling in sporting disciplines such as obedience and tracking. Puppies will be raised in a suburban home with exposure to cats, chooks and a range of sights and experiences.
Puppies are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and regularly dewormed, and they will be registered with Dogs NSW.

Derringer Dobermanns has a litter due in August 2024, with all great breeding lines going back 40 plus years. The puppies will all be registered, DNA'd for Cardio DCM1,2,3&4 and any other diseases, including full health tests and will be genetically vWd's clear! This is the first litter in NZ to be tested on all variants of Cardiomyopathy, which is a step in the right direction for the Dobermann breed.
Looking for good, caring, family homes, they will be all fully vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and vet checked. They will also have full DNA health results and have a free 8 week puppy insurance cover.
