Quendrith Welsh Terriers aims to show and breed healthy quality dogs, representative of breed type. Maintaining high standards of health testing is a fundamental part of our ethos. The kennel is based on dogs international and national championship lines. Our foundation dog is Darwyn's Webslinger (Parker) (imp Can), multi Best in Show winner in USA, Canada and Australia. He won Best of Breed at the prestigious Montgomery Terrier Show in 2009 and in the same year was awarded Best of Breed at Eukanuba AKC Breed National Show. The foundation bitch is also imported from the Darwyn Kennel in Canada and is Darwyn's Kazuri at Wentworth (Zuzu). Zuzu gained her Aust. championship with a Best in Group and a Runner up Best to Group and Best of Breed at Sydney Royal in 2016. We are pleased to announce our first litter of Welsh Terrier puppies, born in April this year. Puppies are home raised with care, attention and socialization.

We are a small select kennel and have been breeding Welsh Terriers now for over 20 years with great success. We screen our breeding stock for PLL [Primary Lens Luxation. Breeding for soundness and type from top quality imported blood lines. Our second import Matranensis Earthquake [IMP.HUN.] was Australia's first ever Welsh Terrier to hold the Grand Championship title. We currently have two litters of standard Poodle puppies one born August 2024 and the other born September 2024. There are three available to pet homes from the first litter and four available from the younger litter. They will be sold with desexing contracts and DogsNZ pedigrees endorsed 'Not to be bred'. A show or dog sport potential puppy may be available to the right home by negotiation. One brown boy, one blue girl and a cream girl from the first litter are available and two white boys and a white girl are available to approved homes from the second litter. Puppies, parents and our home and puppy raising environment are available to be seen by arrangement. We offer lifetime support for our puppy buyers and will take back any dog we have bred who can no longer stay with their family if their circumstances unexpectedly change.
