ABOUT ME - As President of the Australian Prague Ratter Club & the country's longest-standing breeder, I have been dedicated to preserving and enhancing the breed in Australia since 2008. I am committed to the highest standards by importing top-quality Prague Ratters from the Czech Republic. I carefully source dogs from award-winning breeders to ensure health, temperament, & conformation excellence. My efforts have helped establish a strong and growing presence for the Prague Ratter in Australia. HISTORY - The Prazsky Krysarik, or Prague Ratter, is a rare breed with a history dating back to the 8th century. Originating in the Czech Republic, these dogs were once cherished by nobility & royalty, often gifted to foreign rulers as symbols of diplomacy & friendship. Initially favoured for their elegance & agility in royal courts, Prague Ratters later became popular among commoners for their rat-hunting skills. TEMPERAMENT - Known for their intelligence, ease of training, and affectionate nature, Prague Ratters are agile, quick, & display natural nobility. They are slightly reserved with strangers but incredibly loyal & friendly within their families, thriving on human companionship & involvement in daily life. Gentle, curious, and loving, they are ideal companions for all ages.

We do have available delightful, friendly, sweet temperament, quality female puppies with excellent ridges ready for their new homes. They have had 2 sets of Vaccinations, micro chipped, fully wormed, registered with ANKC. Both parents are hip and elbow x-rayed grade A. DNA health tested for genetic diseases both clear non-carriers. Our puppies are raised in the home. Temperament and health are a priority. Puppies come with an extensive puppy pack including blanket, toy, collar, lead, bowl, teething aids, a weeks supply of their current food and much more, plus a comprehensive information folder on how to feed and care for guide, puppy to adult. All pups have had 2 vet checks and are fit, active and healthy. Both parents have had all their relevant health checks done which can be provided on request.
