ABOUT ME - As President of the Australian Prague Ratter Club & the country's longest-standing breeder, I have been dedicated to preserving and enhancing the breed in Australia since 2008. I am committed to the highest standards by importing top-quality Prague Ratters from the Czech Republic. HISTORY - The Prazsky Krysarik, or Prague Ratter, is a rare breed with a history dating back to the 8th century. Originating in the Czech Republic, these dogs were once cherished by nobility & royalty, often gifted to foreign rulers as symbols of diplomacy & friendship. Initially favoured for their elegance & agility in royal courts, Prague Ratters later became popular among commoners for their rat-hunting skills.
TEMPERAMENT - Known for their intelligence, ease of training, and affectionate nature, Prague Ratters are agile, quick, & display natural nobility. They are slightly reserved with strangers but incredibly loyal & friendly within their families, thriving on human companionship & involvement in daily life. Gentle, curious, and loving, they are ideal companions for all ages.

We have many dogs placed with families as assistance dogs and companion dogs to children with autism. ( 2 of my children have autism) Our dogs have gone on to be trained as PTSD assistance dogs with Defence Community Dogs and as Education Assistance Dogs in schools. We have a growing number of dogs who have graduated as assistant dogs. The temperament of our puppies makes them suitable for these positions.

YELLOW MALE & FEMALE PUPPIES AVAILABLE 3 DECEMBER 2024

Our beautiful Pippa (Gunnislake Highland Mist) has delivered her first litter of yellow puppies on 8 October 2024. We have yellow males and females available from early December. The sire of these puppies is Champion Driftway Galileo (Billy).

Hip scores for Pippa are 2:4 and for Billy 0:0. Elbow scores for both parents are 0:0. Both parents have been genetically screened – puppies cannot be affected by PRCD/PRA (Progressive Rod Cone Degeneration), EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse) or HNPK (Dry Nose).

Our puppies are raised on acreage on the Central Coast of NSW (near Warnervale) with our three children and other animals (alpacas, geese and chickens). They are wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked before going to their new families and will have ANKC Pedigree Certificates on the limited register (main register by negotiation).

Puppies are fed Royal Canin and come with a Royal Canin puppy pack, Royal Canin Labrador Retriever puppy food, proof of vaccination and information pack.

Puppies can be viewed from early November and will go to approved homes only. We require information about where the puppies will live and we do not export puppies. Please contact us for any further information or to express interest in a puppy.
