Arcticpalace have been involved with Portuguese Water Dogs for approx. 15 years now.

We were the proud owners of our very lovely Foundation Portuguese Water Dogs. aquiring our first "Roque" starting out in 2005 and "Raquel" our second purchased from Dassin in Qld. (the founders of the breed in Aust)and are the 2 youngest Grand titled Porties in Australia.
Roque - BIS GR CH Dassin you Beta Believe it our Brown & White Wavy boy, Grand titled at 19 months of age and was a Best in Show winner before he turned 2yrs.
Raquel - Gr Ch Dassin Perfect drift(ai)Grand titled at 2yrs,4 months months, she is our Black & White Curly girl (first curly to live and be exhibited in NSW)
Our other 2 that were part of our foundation were "Pedro" and "Annie" all who are sadly no longer with us passing of old age from 11+ to 14+ years.

We have gone on to breed many Champions, Grand Champions and Supreme Champions under the Arcticpalace prefix and have made ourselves and many people very happy to own their own Portie puppies to which we have met and made many wonderful friends through.

All our dogs are DNA tested, Optigen eye tested A(clear) or B (carrier) no C (affected) and are hip and Elbow X rayed and scored before breeding.

My bloodlines are a combination from the top kennels in Canada the USA and Australia. Health testing is of the utmost importance and every puppy that leaves to go to his forever home is supplied with full health test results on:
MO, JDCM, GM1, EOPRA, PRCD-PRA, HIPS, ELBOWS, CDDY/IVDD and OPTHALMIC EYE EXAM CERTIFICATE from both parents.

Our passion for Portuguese Dogs started in 2009 when we got our first Portuguese Water Dog, Grace. Grace showed us how incredible this breed is! Everyone who met Grace fell in love with her. She visited hospitals as a therapy dog and she was an Assistance Dog for Wendy. Grace travelled the world with us and even got to spend a day at The Louvre and see the Mona Lisa. She also competed with us in agility, flyball, rally, dancing with dogs and heel work to music. Grace learnt >200 tricks and loved nothing more than showing off her tricks to an audience.
Grace’s registered name was Bluegrace Seacalling and our kennel name Seacalling is a tribute to G.
In 2020, we imported a very special Portuguese Water Dog, Ocean (aka Oshi), from the USA. She is our foundation bitch and she has proved to us yet again why we LOVE this breed so much! She is incredibly intelligent, loyal, loving, athletic and driven to work. So far we have competed in conformation, agility and rally and she is training to be an Assistance Dog. We never dreamed another dog could come close to Grace but Oshi has our hearts.
We have imported frozen semen from a top stud dog in the USA (MBISS GChS Marshview Whale Of A Good Time RN MX MXJ XF DCAT RATS CGCA WWD GROM) and we hope to have our first litter in 2023.
Our goal is to breed for temperament, structure, health and working ability. Our puppies will be given a lot of enrichment and they should make fabulous performance dogs and pets for active owners.

I acquired my first PWD in 2002 and she is the ONLY Conformation, Obedience and Endurance Test titled PWD bitch in Australia - Grand Ch Luerace Coco Chanel C.D.X., E.T. "Holly Dog". She is also the FIRST and ONLY Australian Bred PWD to hold these titles and the FIRST PWD bitch to become a Grand Champion in Australia. Holly Dog is by far the most Show, Obedience and Working titled PWD in the country. I imported a bitch in whelp from Biley's Kennel Sweden in May 2006 - Biley's Happy Hazard - and she whelped a litter of 6 on June 16th, from Swedish Ch Gnupens Skoningslosa Matrix (Sweden). There were 6 puppies in the litter, 2 dogs and 4 bitches, and I kept a dog and bitch, Rulett Set Thsails Foroz (IID) "Wombat" and Rulett Devocean (IID) "Miss Pringle", to go on with. Both became Aust Champions and Wombat also gained his Supreme Champion and Endurance Test titles. Hazard gained her Australian and Swedish Champion titles and whelped a litter of three pups in April 2008 to Ch Sunnyhill Quicksilver Wind N Sails (Imp USA). Hazard and Holly Dog are my foundation bitches. I have imported/used breeding stock from Sweden, Norway, Canada, USA, NZ, UK and exported stock to Sweden, U.S.A., Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, England, Hawaii and New Zealand. All my breeding stock is CHEDS Hip and Elbow x-rayed/scored, DNA/gene tested for PRA, JDCM, GM1, DM, BHFD, CCDA, MOS, EOPRA, Colour, Parentage and ACES Eye Certified (litters included before homing). Rulett - simply no chances taken!!!

Arcticpalace has 4 puppies available to loving homes. 3 boys and 1 girl. DOB 13.09.24
This litter has been bred for a show boy for ourselves and is a repeat mating on my last show girl “Ellee” who has been very popular in the show ring with an outstanding temperament and has had many wonderful wins.
Here at Arcticpalace we only breed with the intention to keep a puppy for ourselves to show which we are very prominent in the show ring and allow others the unconditional love of a dog we get to enjoy.
Parents have been health tested for all relevant health test performed in DNA profiling and have had their hip and elbow X-Rays and scored very well.
Puppies have been raised in the family home and are very well socialised both indoors and out in their designer run ensuring loving, happy go lucky temperaments and being given lots of human interaction and cuddles.
Puppies are available to go to their new homes from the 8th of November and will be registered with the Australian National Kennel Club, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed every two weeks since birth.
They also come with their personal folder with copies of all relevant records and more and a Blackhawk puppy pack, the premium food they have been raised on.
