Welcome to Howlincreek terriers where we endeavour to breed the best “True To Type” Parson Terrier, using imported bloodlines going back to the original type bred by Reverend John Russell himself. We have been involved with Parsons for over 40yrs back when people just called them leggy jacks and we love the energy and character of this terrier.
We have owned some of the early known names of working Parsons in Australia such as, Kapaldo, Swampfox, Foxalla, Foxmoor and even descendants of Bohunt.

I have been involved with Parson Russell Terriers since 1995. My foundation stock is all from the UK and include some very old and influential bloodlines for example Howlbeck, Hoelio and Ridley. I have dogs with all 3 coat types and pride myself on the exceptional quality of my smooth coat dogs. All my breeding stock are BAER hearing tested, eye checked including DNA testing for PLL, DNA tested for LOA and SCA and many of my foundation dogs have been hip/elbow scored. We strive to breed terriers true to breed type with sound conformation and good temperament.

These puppies are being raised within our home using puppy culture methods, including early neurological stimulation (ENS) and early scent introduction (ESI) principals when the puppies were 3-16 days old. We have made a start with crate training, toilet training, and basic sitting and clicker training with the puppies and will be expanding this over the next weeks.
Miss Green can sit and drop with the assistance of treats.
