Welcome to Howlincreek terriers where we endeavour to breed the best “True To Type” Parson Terrier, using imported bloodlines going back to the original type bred by Reverend John Russell himself. We have been involved with Parsons for over 40yrs back when people just called them leggy jacks and we love the energy and character of this terrier. We have owned some of the early known names of working Parsons in Australia such as, Kapaldo, Swampfox, Foxalla, Foxmoor and even descendants of Bohunt.

I have been involved with Parson Russell Terriers since 1995. My foundation stock is all from the UK and include some very old and influential bloodlines for example Howlbeck, Hoelio and Ridley. I have dogs with all 3 coat types and pride myself on the exceptional quality of my smooth coat dogs. All my breeding stock are BAER hearing tested, eye checked including DNA testing for PLL, DNA tested for LOA and SCA and many of my foundation dogs have been hip/elbow scored. We strive to breed terriers true to breed type with sound conformation and good temperament.

We have a blend of New Zealand..English and Czechoslovakian Bloodlnes. Our Girl Squirrel is the first Parson Russell Terrier In Australia to gain the Junior Earth Dog Title..

Dalsue has now added Parson Russell Terriers to our home. Our beautiful boy Aust Grand Champion Jacklands Dallas is available at stud to approved bitches.

Our Parsons are true to breed standard, well muscled and live a very well balanced life keeping our rural property free from pests and vermin and other intruders while being dedicated loving members of our family. Our Parsons will excel as pets, show or performance dogs

I have welcomed a lovely big litter from my Eos and Eireann. Puppies will be ready to go home just after Christmas Litter is PLN clear by parentage. All puppies seem to have heavy coat type Both parents have wonderful temperaments and are socialised well. All my dogs are always pets first before anything and puppies will be raised in my home.
