Mastdoch was founded by Peter & Karen Docherty who first imported a Mastiff from Bredwardine Kennels in 1992 from the UK. Over the years we have produced multiple Best In Show and Best in Group winners (all breeds Champ level).

We breed and exhibit all 3 colours. All of our breeding dogs are health tested for cystinuria, PRA, CMR1, DM and are hip and elbow scored.

We live on a 145 acre property just outside Bathurst NSW, we have owned and loved pure bred Mastiff's since 1998. We currently have 6 Mastiff's in our family. Our Mastiffs have been hip & elbow scored and DNA tested with My Dog DNA. Just like the majority of Mastiff owners we fell in love with this large breeds gentle, loyal and calming friendly nature, making them the perfect companion & guardian for our family, and would like to do our little bit to help protect and preserve The Mastiff. Our lovely Lucy- Aus Champ Osuno Burning Boundaries NZ Imp and Our stunning Rio - Aus Champ Osuno Grey Grenade NZ Imp have produced an amazing litter of 8 beautiful puppies. Both Lucy and Rio have amazingly calm temperaments and no health issues. We have 3 girls and 5 boys. 3 of the boys have tails and the remainder of the litter are all natural bob tails.
