We will only breed from healthy, sound animals that are health tested as we attempt to breed for soundness and correct Mastiff temperament and type. We live on a 145 acre property just outside Bathurst NSW, we have owned and loved pure bred Mastiff's since 1998. We currently have 6 Mastiff's in our family. Our Mastiffs have been hip & elbow scored and DNA tested with My Dog DNA. Just like the majority of Mastiff owners we fell in love with this large breeds gentle, loyal and calming friendly nature, making them the perfect companion & guardian for our family, and would like to do our little bit to help protect and preserve The Mastiff. Airewood are pleased to announce we are expecting puppies late November. We breed to ensure both health and temperament is our priority, and have introduced new blood lines using imported semen from one of America's top Airedale kennels to enhance the quality of our dogs here in Australia. We are pleased to advise that Dahlia (Champion Trumps Roadshow) has been confirmed via ultrasound to be expecting puppies late November. Dahlia has had a successful show career, now retired from showing, and lives with her daughter in my home as much loved companion. My dogs are available to meet at an arranged visit time. Temperament is of paramount importance and all dogs excel in this regard. They all live as home companions, not as kennel dogs. Information regarding care, including grooming ( I give complimentary lessons) is always offered. Puppies go to their new homes having been well socialized and with appropriate interactions with toys, and visitors. DNA genetic testing and Hips and elbows testing has been done.
