Rysup Kennels started in 1992 firstly with Keeshonds and then we welcomed our first Lhasa Apso in 1996. We have slowly progressed to Lhasa Apsos being our main focus, as we fell in love with this amazing breed. Our dogs are part of our family, living with us in the house. Since we started we have bred or owned multiple Grand Champions, Champions, Neuter Champions, BIS & BISS winners. We are located in the Hunter Valley NSW.

First and foremost, our puppies are whelped and raised in our living room, every litter meticulously planned. 2nd Generation breeder owners of Lhasa Apsos for over 40 years, the oldest remaining Lhasa Apso breeders in NSW. Our Lhasa's have been awarded Specialty, Semi-specialty and All Breed Bests-in-show, as well as Supreme Champions here at home and with others. We breed when we are wanting to add to our canine family, so puppies are only occasionally available. We have 2 Bullmastiffs, and all our dogs run together, so Lhasa babies, when available have super temperaments. Puppies bred by us are with families in NSW, Victoria and Queensland, and Ch Neokarma I Want That Man is now resident of NZ.

JJ is a home bred LHASA APSO STUD from KRADDOELL Lhasa Apsos. He is a beautiful specimen of  stud dog, with evidence of both parents in his DNA. KRADDOELL only breed for health, temperament and size. Belinda and Nina are a successful mother & daughter team, an accomplished Owner/Breeder/Exhibitors of Lhasa Apsos for more than 20 years. Breeding many Grand & Supreme Champions and achieving the highest accolades with many dogs winning Best in Shows. Pugs have now joined our successful team. We have cared for, shown and presented many breeds over the decades. We strive for happy, healthy Lhasa's with exceptional temperaments. Our mission is to assist in the preservation of these wonderful breeds. All our Lhasa's and Pug's are fully DNA tested for all known breed specific diseases. We are very selective in the blood lines we use to eliminate any bad traits there may be and importing Lhasa's & Pug's from around the world to expand our gene pool. We are a small kennel and have been exhibiting and breeding Lhasa Apsos for 26 years. Our dogs have achieved Multi Best In Show Specialty, Best In Show, Best In Group and Class In Show awards. Our aim is to produce dogs with wide genetic variation that are both sound in structure and temperament and keeping true to type. We only breed occasionally, enquiries are always welcome.
