We breed for type and temperament and our babies are raised in the house where we also have Tibetan Terriers and a cat. Our son has an Irish Wolfhound, so puppies get used to having a big dog around.. Rod has his Championship license for Groups 5, 6 and 7 and has judged in Denmark, England and a number of times in New Zealand plus Australia. We are always willing to talk to anyone interested in this fascinating Tibetan breed.

Originally from Tibet where they were a highly regarded watchdog in the palaces the Lhasa Apso is now primarily a family companion who loyally protects his family from danger. Although small in stature the Lhasa is a sturdy and independent dog. Lhasas have hair instead of fur and do not shed like other dogs which makes them hypoallergenic and perfect for inside and for people with allergies. The Lhasa is an obedient and devoted companion. They are very intelligent dogs who have a friendly and playful nature. They are an exceptional breed for both adults and children alike and will make a fantastic addition to any family.
