We only breed and own Kerry Blue Terriers as they are our passion and we are happy to chat to possible new owners as to the suitability of this breed to your home as while Kerrys are a fantastic breed, they are not suitable for all homes. Our Kerrys are selectively bred for health, temperament and exceptional quality, but most of all, wonderful family members that make their families proud. We health test our Kerrys and regularly introduce new bloodlines in order to keep our gene-pool strong. We test all our Kerrys for vWd1, FXI, DM & CMSD/PNA to ensure the health of all our Kerrys and future progeny produced. A new life began for us with the purchase of our first Kerry Blue Terrier, Aust Ch Tasshot Dancing with Charli who stole our hearts. Our dream at DanuClaire is to breed healthy, well-tempered Kerrys and to see this rare and relatively unknown breed become a familiar sight both in pet and show homes. Our philosophy is to maintain breed standard while prioritizing health, temperament and confirmation. We are ecstatic to have purchased semen from the prestigious kennel, Irisblu in N. Ireland. Harold and Helena Quigg of Irisblu have bred Kerrys who have won some of the most significant shows in UK, USA, Europe and Australia by carefully selecting breeding pairs based on their genetics and ensuring the best traits are passed down to future generations. By conducting thorough health screening and genetic testing, DanuClaire puppies will have the best chance of a long, healthy life. Our puppies will be exposed to stimuli, environments and experiences to help them develop into well-rounded confident dogs. They will be brought up in our home and potty training will have commenced. Puppies come with a starter pack and will have their first inoculations and vet checked. Ongoing guidance and support is offered to new owners, with advice on training, grooming and general care to ensure a smooth transition for both the puppy and its new family. It is of paramount importance that our puppies go to the best homes, so prospective puppy owners will be vetted to ensure their suitability.

Our puppies come from ANKC registered parents with impressive titles and international bloodlines in both pedigrees, ensuring the continuation of the breed's exceptional characteristics and health standards. With a focus on responsible breeding practices and quality care, we prioritize the well-being and happiness of each puppy, setting them up for a fulfilling and joyful life in their new homes. We use ENS and Puppy Culture methods in rearing puppies in the family home. Parents have been hip and elbow scored and have had full DNA breed profiles and health testing done. Three of our lovely lagotto ladies have decided to bless us with puppies before the end of the year. One litter of six has safely arrived and four puppies are currently available. Mums are brown, brown roan and cream and dads are both brown roan so we are expecting a range of colours. Some puppies will be available before Christmas or we can hold on the farm until mid January if you have holidays planned. We are delighted to announce the anticipated arrival of Lagotto puppies from ‘Sara’ and 'Teddy'. These puppies will be available to go to their new homes late November 2024. We currently have a white male available. Here at Rustufarion we are committed to the health of our breeding dogs and understand the importance this has in raising genetically healthy puppies. Our lagottos have been screened for the known and genetically testable disorders evident in the Lagotto. Screening breeding animals prior to breeding will ensure these preventable disorders do not affect your puppy from Rustufarion. Further health checks of our breeding dogs includes screening for Hip Dysplasia. We do everything possible to produce puppies with sound temperaments and confirmation and this has been factored into the selection of a suitable sire for these puppies. For this reason we also raise new born puppies in our home where they receive constant supervision, attention and interaction within a busy home. During the first weeks we focus on raising our puppies within a warm environment and commence neurological stimulation. Our puppies are pedigree registered with Dogs NSW as well as being vet checked and vaccinated, microchipped and come with 6 weeks of puppy health insurance.
