I have loved and admired "Miniature American Shepherds" for over 30 years, and it has always been on my bucket list to import and breed these beautiful dogs here in New Zealand. It is a long and expensive process to import these dogs from USA - do all the genetic testing + Hips Elbows and Eyes, I now have some beautiful foundation dogs to begin my lines of Miniature American Shepherds. I bought my first dogs for New Zealand in 2018. All my dogs are AKC registered MAS. I have a co-home breeder in Australia as well. We share 7 imported USA dogs. Puppies available

Skyefall Kennels is proud to welcome the new breed Miniature American Shepherd (MAS) to Australia! We worked closely with our parent breed club in the United States, MASCUSA to be instrumental in the recognition of the breed in Australia. We are one of the first breeders of MAS in Australia and look forward to sharing this wonderful breed downunder. We add the Miniature American Shepherd under our already successful prefix ‘Skyefall’, following the same key principles of breeding with integrity and for the betterment and development of the breed. Temperament, type, movement and health will always be at the forefront of our breeding decisions as we further develop this breed, importing dogs and frozen semen from USA. We believe in the true type of the Australian Shepherd in miniature and have developed a breeding program working with top breeders in the United States to develop our own line of MAS. We will continue to import the best Miniature American Shepherds into Australia over the next few years. Pet and Show puppies will be available - enquiries welcome. Although I have followed this breed in the USA for some time, until it was accepted by the ANKC we then decided to go ahead and add this gorgeous breed to our home as they fit our lifestyle perfectly. We are very involved with our dogs whether it be working out on farm with us, training, attending kids sports or just coming down the beach for a fish. All our dogs are hip & elbow scored and are DNA tested for hereditary diseases including CDDY & NADS. Best Ridge Miniature American Shepherds is proud to present: Keecam Red Carpet Ready (Maya) We are so grateful to Keecam kennels in Canada for Miss Maya as a start for our kennel's Lisa has given me the opportunity to show this little girl. Having a passion for this breed and the beautiful temperament, health and betterment. A gorgeous loving happy little dog that just wants to cuddle! She is not as active as other herding dogs, and a lot smaller than I had thought but perfect to size. Starting agility come Feb '24' will be a true test for the stamina of us both. Maya has had her health testing, hips and elbows and also eyes to be tested annually due again Feb 2024. Am Ch Hearthside Clever Endeavor (Imp USA) - Spice - Miniature American Shepherd Spice is as her name suggests - She has a spicy Delightful temperament. She is 15 inches or 38.1 cm tall. and a spicy red head to boot. Spice is spunky and fun. We will be campaigning Spice to her Australian Title before her first litter in a couple of years.
