I have been actively involved with dogs in ANKC Obedience since 1989 and Conformation since 1997. Markable's selective breeding progrram rates temperament and physical health as paramount. My dogs are all accomplished retrievers on land and from water. All my dogs are health-screened and DNA tested to gauge their suitability prior to breeding. All Markable dogs and puppies are in-home reared, raised and maintained on a natural RAW diet. Breed, puppy rearing and behavioural information is willingly provided and ongoing contact encouraged. Australian Champion Barokamurray -Bea is the first female ANKC registered champion Murray River River in the world. She joined the Markable family in 2022 from Barokamurray Victoria. I hope to help inform people about this intelligent allrounder Australian breed. Bea has taken to conformation showing gaining many Best of Breed and age in group awards. Bea also does Obedience and retrieving trialing. We are a small breeder, with currently only two females.
Using a mix of Puppy Culture and Avidog we breed our pups for show, performance and family pets.
In our first year of Murrays being show the following dogs we bred have achieved their titles:
Australian Champion Barokamurray Cowboy Tequila (Jojo) DOB 30/11/ 21
Australian Champion Barokamurray Beatingroundtbush (Bea) DOB 30/11/21
Neut Champion Barokamurray River Boy NRA (Mo) DOB 19/6/20
Mo earned his Novice RATG title in 4 trials and is currently training for Open and competing in agility/ jumping. He has won numerous Best Neuter in Group and a few runner up Neuter in Show.
Barokamurray Freedom Ride (Hollie) is a therapy dog.
Our pups have been successful in the show ring with multiple in group wins and puppy in shows.
Our foundation female, Ch Laity Baci (Baci) awarded her show title in December 2022. Barokamurray Shes Country (Riva) earned hers in April 2023. Both girls have been DNA and hip /elbow tested. With very good results for both of them.

We have an outstanding female puppy available from the best working bloodlines. Our Pink girl is healthy, active and bright. She is vaccinated and microchipped.

Our pups are brought up in the house an part of our family. They are used to all actions and noises from a normal household.

When they are old enough, they go to the puppy house during the day which is part of our backyard and the pups are very active exploring, chasing, eating bones and playing. They continue to come back to the house at night.

They also now know some basic obedience commands - yes, no, sit, wait, puppy come. Pinky knows her name (which of course will be easily changed by a loving owner). Occasionally I take the pups and Mum for drives in the car.

Both parents are very strong field bred dogs with Molly being fifty percent imported bloodlines from Europe and UK, and Cooper having outstanding breeding including Orlando, Gamemaster, Kamphogdas and Quailbanders.
These puppies are outstanding examples of field breeding, bringing wonderful conformation and temperament together with intelligence and trainability and a desire to please.
Irish Setters are wonderful family pets who love to get out into the fresh air for exercise and games and later cuddles on the couch. They are dogs with it all, personality plus, a keen sense of fun, loyalty and beauty and elegance, with of course the glorious red coat for which they are noted. A beautiful redhead always stands out in a crowd.
The puppies were born on 2nd April 2024 and have had their second vaccination, microchipped, vetchecked and are on Limited Register Pedigree.
Our puppies are brought up in the house and are familiar with all normal household activities and sounds. They are well socialised and love adults and children alike. They are also familiar with our cat and hens and have been introduced to our horses.
