Sonza Dobermanns have been showing and breeding quality Dobermanns since 1980.

Our dogs have correct temperaments making excellent family dogs and loyal companions. The bloodlines we have carefully selected include some of the best European, North American, South American and older Australian bloodlines that have excelled in the show ring and in obedience. Our breeding philosophy focuses on soundness, health, longevity and conformation with each generation being better than the last. We are committed to the preservation of the Dobermann breed. We are proactive in genetic testing including DCM1, DCM2, vWD and UC Davis VGL Genetic Diversity testing for all of our breeding dogs. Over the years John has campaigned many dogs to conformation and obedience titles. He is also a Utility and Gundogs judge.
