Our passion for this breed inspires us to strive to produce happy , healthy Brittanys . The Brittany is a versatile dog , bred traditionally to be what it's natural instinct is and that is to hunt . On the field it will never disappoint and its temperament is one that every owner will fall in love with . Also makes a wonderful loyal pet and will quickly find his/her place in the family . We have been involved with the breed now for 13 years now and we are dedicated to improving this wonderful breed.

Since 2013, I have held a valid breeder's license, specializing in the breeding of Gundogs. I focus solely on breeding from dogs with a proven and impeccable pedigree. The nurturing environment for our dogs and puppies is a spacious acreage property situated in the beautiful Macedon Ranges. I am no longer breeding puppies At Rockfire Brittanys my dogs are loved house pets as well as weekend show dogs. Health, Temperament and Conformation are all equally and vitally important to me when planning any mating. All my brittanys used in breeding have been hip and elbow xrayed and eye checked.

I have been involved with the Brittany breed for 23 years. I have the privilege of owning Tobenlee dogs. Tobenlee is a kennel that has done much for the development of the breed in Australia. I value temperament, health, working ability and confirmation and my dogs are hip and elbow scored, and heart and eye checked. They are excellent house dogs, good with children, outgoing and come from very sound working lines. My first bitch Tobenlee Hot N Th City (Georgie) obtained her Grand Championship in the show ring in fine style and produced a beautiful litter on the 30th September 08 (6 females 5 males). Skyhuntr Brittany’s is small scale kennel who focuses on breeding quality not quantity. Our love of Brittany’s began when we first became involved in the breed in 2008, when Artie joined our family. From there we were hooked on the breed. In 2014 we added Astro to our pack. Titled at 14 months and in training to be gundog while showing we were hunting and showing on the same weekends. In 2017, Skye was added to the pack. Skye titled by 9 months old before moving onto obedience, agility and field work 2022 Eden joined the pack. Eden is a daughter to Astro and Skye’s second litter. While young we have been showing and training to be a gundog. We have 10+ years of obedience instructors with our local dog club.) 10+ years in field work training and working into tracking and scent work. We believe that Brittany’s should be utilised in a role (obedience, agility, retrieving or fieldwork etc) as they love working for their owners and have a brilliant mind for learning but equally we believe that they should be right at home on the couch watching tv at the end of the day. Expressions of Interest We are seeking expressions of interest for our upcoming litter of beautiful Italian Greyhound puppies. Parents are from the old Australian lines. All of our puppies are bred in accordance with the ANKC registration requirement for purebred dogs. Our dogs are part of the family. Puppies are whelped in the lounge room and are reared in the house. They are raised according to Puppy Culture principles. We are happy to share regular updates from whelping as they grow into the lovely little dogs that will become your companion. They are accompanied by a comprehensive Puppy Pack, 6 weeks Insurance cover and Lifetime support. They will be DNA profiled for proof of parentage, wormed, vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and registered with Dogs Queensland Limited Register (You will receive pedigree "papers"). This registration gives you the ability to participate in Obedience and Agility Competition. Our puppies are toilet trained to an indoor system. Our puppies tend to be varying shades of blue, black and seal, although occasionally we have a lighter blue-fawn or even a fawn puppy. We don’t take any deposits or allocate any puppies until after their 6-week check-up/vaccination appointment with the Vet.
