Goldchief is a small breeding program dedicated to preserving the beauty, intelligence, and athleticism of the Hungarian Vizsla breed. Our journey with Hungarian Vizslas started 15 years ago, when we brought our first Vizsla, Lexie (Erdos Chilli Calypso) into our family. We were immediately captivated by their intelligence, energy, and affectionate nature. As we learned more about the breed, we discovered their rich history and heritage, and we were hooked.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of owning and loving several Vizslas, each with their unique personality and quirks. Our breeding program was born out of a desire to share this joy with others and to contribute to the preservation of this magnificent breed.
At Goldchief, we’re committed to breeding Hungarian Vizla's that excel in every way physically, mentally, and temperamentally. We believe in breeding dogs that are true to their heritage and dogs that conform to breed standard.
Our goal is to produce puppies that make wonderful family pets, hunting companions, and performance dogs. We strive to breed dogs that are healthy and robust with a long lifespan. Intelligent and easy to train. Loyal and loving, with a strong bond to their family.
Our pups are raised in our family home and are well socialised.
Pups will be sold on limited register with Dogs Victoria.
