The Gleeson family has been breeding and hunting with Harriers for a century. Committed to preserving the original characteristics of the breed Max has recently imported Mason's Dash of Kingsbury from Canada. Dash follows the importation of Skyrocket's Moonlight Gunner from USA. These two stallion dogs complement the Tasmanian & NZ lines in the Myrtlecreek kennel. We're located an hour north of Melbourne. Beagles and harriers are part of our family and are well socialized with other animals on our farm. A litter is available sometimes. They have a great temperament and will be fantastic family pets or hunting companions. Puppies are vet checked and get their microchip numbers and needle at 6 weeks old. After 30 plus years of breeding and exhibiting Foxhounds I commencing my journey into 'downsizing' and the natural choice was to move into Harriers.
I commenced exhibiting Harriers in mid 2022 for a friend and have to date finished 3 Australian Champions.
One of these hounds is an American import and another once he finished his title was exported to the USA.
All of our Harriers are/were active and successful hunting hounds registered with the Game Management Authority in Victoria. They have proven their worth in the showring without forfeiting the purpose they were bred for.
Harriers make great family pets- not as big or as strong as his larger 'cousin' the Foxhound. They are quite active so need a commitment to regular exercise. With very easy going natures, Harriers would be willing participants in family outings or snuggles on the couch.
Like the Foxhound they are a very hardy breed with no DNA testing required for breeding purposes.
Our Harrier litters will be raised with the same dedication and care given to my Foxhounds- 24/7 supervision & care, exposure to all types of experiences in a purpose built play area, noises, car travel, cats and other pets.
I have a closed FB group with updates on planned litters and families can watch the progress of their chosen puppy.

Puppies will be wormed every 2 weeks , microchipped,vaccinated, raised on premium food, come with a puppy pack and life time support from myself who has been in the breed for many years and a dog psychologist and Rachael who is a vet nurse & dog trainer between us both you have extensive knowledge.

Pups will come on dexing contracts and lifetime return to breeder contract.

Aquadane Kennels has the pleasure to announce the arrival of two beautiful litter of Blue and Blue Harlequin puppies, born on the 30/05/2024 and the 05/06/2024 to our stunning Blue Harlequin young Sire "Aquadane Oannes", our blue Dam "Aquadane Countess Katinka" and our Blue Dam "Aquadane Bozica Azura".

Parents are all hip and elbow tested and achieved best results. They all come from recently imported Croatian and Hungarian lines.

These puppies will be sold as ANKC Registered Pet Only (not for breeding) and will be ready to go to their new homes as from the 26/07/2024 and the 01/08/2024 (younger litter).

By the time they are ready to go to their new homes, they will have been wormed every two weeks, vaccinated, microchip, DNA for Parenting and gone through a comprehensive health check.

Documents of all the above will travel with them to their new homes. A booklet of information and ideas of what to have ready for the arrival of your new puppy will be emailed to you before their arrival and their pedigree will be posted to their new owners.
