Suliman kennels is located in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, owned and bred by Kerin, Kerry & Rachel Hutchings. We have been involved with afghan hounds since 1973, and have since succeeded in selectively breeding afghans which have sound temperament, elegance & substance. We have enjoyed much success over the last 3 decades of showing, and in recent years have bred, owned and handled Australia’s #1 Afghan Hound for 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019. Through hard work and dedication to the breed, we have accomplished more than 100 Best in Shows and 50 reserve Best in Shows, consistently winning at some of Australia’s most prestigious all breed shows. However, our success has not just been for us here in Australia, but also to those around the globe, having bred many champions and best in show winners in over 8 different countries. We at Suliman welcome all newcomers to the breed, as well as those who have had and shared the love for Afghan Hounds for many years. We occasionally have puppies available and pride ourselves on providing lifetime support and guidance to all those who purchase a Suliman puppy, whether that be as a loving member of your pet or show home family. We have had afghans for many years and have experienced much success in the ring. Breeders of two National Specialty BIS winners and many champions here and overseas. Occasionally healthy, sound & happy puppies available. Check our website for latest information.

We are excited to announce the safe arrival of our long awaited Clumber litter. We may have a boys available. The Clumber Spaniel is not a common breed, it is a grand aristocratic British Spaniel. Their job description, like other spaniels is to find and flush game for the gun; to be steady and to receive it tenderly, from land or water. The characteristics that make them good in the field have allowed them to transition well to city life and the Clumber is an excellent companion for those of us that do not work them to the gun. We are a small family kennel; and only breed occasionally. We enjoying showing our dogs and we also do a multitude of dog sports including obedience and tracking. Both parents have excellent temperaments and character and are from fully health tested lines with a proven background to suit any intended purpose. Pups will be vetted, microchipped and vaccinated, we pay special attention to socialization, frequent handling, exploring different environments and varied experiences to ensure a confident, friendly, outgoing nature.
