Intheblind Kennels has field golden retrievers bred from imported lines directly from the USA. Intheblind kennels does have pure American field goldens from some of the most successful working lines. I purchased my first field golden in 2007 from Iowa, USA and have continued my journey from there. Field goldens are darker golden retrievers, with less coat and bone than many of the show goldens. Like all golden retrievers, field goldens are active dogs. Usually, field goldens are more active than most show lines. They do well in dog obedience, retrieving, tracking agility, as gun dogs and family pets. All of my brood stock are hip elbow heart eye and DNA tested. Since starting this journey my love of Golden Retrievers has increased and I am very proud of the happy healthy pups we have raised. My first show dog came from Camuka Kennels, her name was Juno- Camuka drops of Jupiter. We learnt so much together and she started my interest in showing. From Juno I bred Tully - Serasi Kissed by Yasi, he gained his Australian Championship title in mid 2022.. His Sire is Sup Ch. Fantango Playing The Game. Tully has had some wonderful results. Won his first Best of Breed at age 7 months. A high light was at the 2019 Golden Retriever Club of Victoria Specialty show when he won the class of Minor Puppy and also Best Breeder, Owner, Handler for the day. Most importantly he has a temperament that is second to none, around people, kids and dogs. Tully is a proven stud dog and we do have frozen semen available Summer came into our family 3 years ago from Camuka kennels - Camuka A Summers Night. At just 16 months she became a Champion. Rhycas Golden is a small kennel where our dogs are part of our family. They live indoors with us and are not left alone for long periods of time.
