MONTROY

We have been involved with the dog world in breed shows, agility & obedience for over 35 years. Temperament is of paramount importance, as our dogs must be able to blend into our family and everyday life, as well as being exhibited. I also train puppy & obedience classes. Our dogs are hip scored, elbow scored, & heart and eye certified, & DNA tested. We take our responsibilities as an ethical breeder seriously, & our pups only go to approved forever homes. Contact is maintained with owners for the life span of the dog, and as friendships develop - sometimes beyond that. We provide a 16 page puppy care/training/health/diet manual/resources with our pups, as well as information on grooming, joining Dogs Victoria and Golden Retriever Club, and council dog reg.etc Our puppies are raised as part of our family, & are well socialised with people, our Burmese cats, & other dogs. Pups spend their first 5 weeks in the house, and are engaged with many interactive toys and confidence building resources and Puppy Culture canine enrichment protocols. It is of vital importance to us that our pups only go to the best homes, so we like to talk by phone, then meet prospective owners. We are happy to email photos, pedigree and other information to prospective purchasers after we have spoken by phone. Baradav is a small kennel breeding Golden Retrievers and located in the Barossa Valley approximately one hour north of Adelaide in South Australia. All our breeding dogs are hip and elbow scored, heart and eye tested plus DNA tested for hereditary conditions. We actively show our goldens, breeding for temperament, confirmation and quality. We have been involved in the golden retriever breed for over 30 years. We are situated on a small farm in South East Tasmania, 1/2 hour drive from Hobart. I have shared my life with Goldens for 38 years and began breeding in 2009. My foundation girl, Kiri- Champion Fernfall Beyond Heaven, gave me champion puppies in each of her 3 litters. SONZA

We have been breeding Golden Retrievers since the late 1990s. Although we don't show or trial regularly anymore, we have in the past and may again in the future, instead focussing on exhibiting our Dobermanns at this time. Despite this we place great value on type and conformation and our dogs pedigrees contain Grand and Supreme Champions, as well as imports from England, Scandinavia and elsewhere in Europe. Our goal is to breed quality family companions with a focus on soundness, health, longevity and temperament. All of our dogs and bitches have been hip & elbow scored, have ophthalmologist certificates and sound hearts. John is an ANKC Group 3 and Group 6 conformation judge and obedience judge.
