We are a small kennel on the Sunshine Coast Queensland. We never intended to breed Golden Retrievers, however, my husband and I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful breed after Lottie came into our lives. Lottie has an exquisite temperament, so incredibly calm, sweet, gentle and affectionate, a wonderful companion. As I write this she is asleep with her head on my knee. Our litter is due mid November, so you will be able to take your puppy home mid Jan 2025. Ava, our 2.5 year old beautiful golden girl is having her first litter. She is sweet, loyal and loves her family. Ava is our pet, she is part of the family, and her puppies will be raised in our loving home with puppy friendly interactions. We live on just over an acre in beautiful green West Gippsland. Ava adores kids, food, adults, our pet chickens, and all other dogs. She doesn’t care if it’s raining, thundering, hailing or sun, she loves to run around the backyard, chasing butterflies or her ball. In summer, you’ll find her dipping her nose or her toes in our pool, and in winter, she likes nothing more than to sleep by our fire. Ava is happy as long as she is with her family. Hawkwood is a small semi-rural kennel based in Rolleston, south of Christchurch,NZ. We have been breeding Goldens since 1998 and have the occasional litter, usually when we want a puppy for ourselves.
