We have been breeding Golden Retrievers since the late 1990s. Although we don't show or trial regularly anymore, we have in the past and may again in the future, instead focussing on exhibiting our Dobermanns at this time. Despite this we place great value on type and conformation and our dogs pedigrees contain Grand and Supreme Champions, as well as imports from England, Scandinavia and elsewhere in Europe. Our goal is to breed quality family companions with a focus on soundness, health, longevity and temperament. All of our dogs and bitches have been hip & elbow scored, have ophthalmologist certificates and sound hearts. John is an ANKC Group 3 and Group 6 conformation judge and obedience judge. We breed 1-2 Golden Retriever litters per year.

We are now taking expressions of interest inquiries through our puppy inquiry form on our website.

Hobsonvale is a small kennel located on the beautiful Mid North Coast were our Goldens are part of the family.

We are members of the Golden Retriever Club NSW with Jacquie holding a life membership, and a member of the Port Macquarie Dog club.

Both Sire and Dam have all required health certificates, including clear heart, Hips and elbows, current eye certificate and DNA testing.

All of our puppies are raised in a loving family environment and handled from birth, they will be vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, vet checked and registered with Dogs NSW on the limited register.
Our puppies come with 6 weeks free pet insurance, a puppy pack (filled with goodies), Jane Hodges "a practical guide to buying and raising a happy and healthy Golden Retriever Puppy" and a folder containing all relevant certificates and information about your new puppy.

I currently have 1 beuatiful puppy available due to change of circumstance. My pups were born on the 28/9/2024 & are ready to leave from the 23/11/24 at 8 weeks of age. Puppies are mircochiped, health checked & vaccinated. They come with an extensive puppy pack complete with food. Mum & Dad, both have beautiful temprements as well as exceptionally low hip & elbow scores. They are both DNA profiled, echocardiogramed & have clear eye certificates. My pups have been raised on hypropremuim & Lyka both Australian made quality foods. I use puppy culture principles & my puppies have 24/7 supervision & lots of exposure to a vast array of stimulation, such as treat toys, snuffle mats, water play, people/kids, as well as crate introduction etc. They are toilet trained to use potty areas with around 90% accuracy. I am very commited to raising confident healthy pups which i have found helps them transition in to their new homes more readily.
