Spines and hips are xrayed, eyes and patellas are checked prior to breeding. Our aim is to breed sound healthy dogs that closely resemble the breed standard. We are a boutique breeder in Auckland. Our dogs are part of the family and puppies are brought up in our home so are used to kids, cats etc. All of our breeding dogs are DNA tested before breeding to ensure that they are not affected by testable hereditary diseases.

I have been involved with showing French Bulldogs since 2011 and have owned and shown my own special boys Vin and Floki since 2013. Vin aka Specialty Grand Champion/ NZ Champion Warfare vu Valentino is the only French Bulldog to date that is a Specialty Grand Champion and he is also the only French Bulldog to win 3 Specialty Best in Shows to go with his 3 Reserve Specialty in Shows.Vin also is the breed record holder for CCs in NZ and a record holder winning 5 Best of Breeds at the NZ National dog show , culminating in Best of Group 2017.The first and only French Bulldog to win Best of Group. Vin is fully health tested with excellent results.

SUPERNOVA FRENCH BULLDOGS NZ is a small boutique breeder based in the lovely Wairarapa. Our aim is to change the way people think the French Bulldog 'should' look. We are breeding our dogs with longer noses, legs and backs rather than the usual squishy faces and shorts legs/ bodies - features that end up being exaggerated for looks not health. Our Frenchie's are a big part of our family and are well loved pets first and foremost. Our puppies have been brought up with our young children, cats and other large dogs and are truly loved and adored by all. We believe Frenchie's make the ultimate family pet and we are so excited to be able to breed them for other families to love and enjoy. Our French Bulldogs are all DNA and health tested before being bred from and our main focus is producing happy, healthy puppies with great temperaments and social skills. We are very passionate about breeding the best we can and are always researching and learning more as we go. We aim to be very ethical breeders who always put our dogs first. Our dogs and puppies are on Royal Canin and raw feed for optimal health. We are a small kennel and our dogs are family members. We moved out to the country side specifically to give our dogs lots of room to run around. Our dogs all live inside and do not get kennelled. We breed for health and type. All our pups are raised in our home. We x-ray spine and hips, airways and heart checked and do full profile DNA testing.

We are seeking a forever home for one of our very sweet girls that we have recently retired. At 9kgs she is the perfect size for someone's lap. She has beautiful open nares (nostrils), no BOAS issues (great breathing and can run all day), she will be desexed and veterinary health checked on 10/12/24. She is up to date with vaccinations and deworming. She has no known health issues. Both her parents (and her) have been health tested. She has been DNA tested CLEAR of the diseases commonly known to affect French Bulldogs; * degenerative myelopathy * canine hyperuricosuria * canine multifocal retinopathy 1 * hereditary cataract * cord1-PRA She loves all people and loves to be in the company of her humans. We are seeking a new home for our Bambi girl. No fault of her own as she is amazing. We have decided not to breed her is all, even after DNA & xray results deemed her perfect for our small program. She has now been spayed! Bambi has just turned 3. Shes a cute compact size. She loves fetch, walks, and is water obsessed. Not a great swimmer but loves the hose and shallow waters are ideal for her. She loves treats and pats on the head and chin tickles. She's not fond of being on her back for belly rubs though, like what dog doesn't like belly rubs haha :P Bambi is great with kids small and big but she is nervous with strangers, so she'll need a few days to adjust in a calm environment. Ideally seeking a family that love spending time at home, going camping and trips to the water. Bambi is not good with busy loud surroundings. Bambi is okay with some dogs, depends on the other dogs personality. I would also consider selling Bambi at a heavily reduced rate if she goes with one of our current litter puppies as she will have bonded with them over the coming 8 weeks.
