Dachshar Kennels, nestled in the heart of Tasmania, was founded in 2023 following the marriage of Michelle Booth, formerly of Adstaff Kennels, and Walter Baxter, formerly of Axasash Kennels, known for his work with Shar Pei. As a boutique kennel, we prioritise quality over quantity in our breeding programme, producing a maximum of two litters total per year. We typically limit each bitch to three litters over their lifetime, though more often it is only two. Michelle has been a member of Dogs Tasmania since 2010, while Walter has been involved with our governing body since 2000 with Michelle having been a devoted owner of Miniature Longhaired Dachshunds since 2016, beginning her journey in the show ring with the breed in 2015 and launching her breeding program in 2019. Walter welcomed the breed into his life in 2022, and since then, they have truly captured his heart. Under the Adstaff prefix, Michelle has enjoyed considerable success in both competitions and breeding. Our commitment is to produce healthy dogs with excellent temperaments, strong conformation, and graceful movement. To maintain the highest standards, all our dogs undergo comprehensive DNA health testing for all genetic conditions associated with their breed. As a close-knit family with nine children between us, we often have our grandchildren over, ensuring that all of our dogs are well socialised and great with kids.

Polbathic predominantly breeds Standard longs but has ventured into miniature longs. We thank Andrew and Paige McMaster for the opportunity to own one of their Miniature Longhairs, Athelny, thus making her our Miniature Foundation girl.

They are already looking just like mum and dad with beautiful shaped heads, lovely long ears and very soft coats. Toilet training is going well and basic training has begun. They would make wonderful pets or excellent for showing to an approved breeder. They both parents carry Cream Genetics. The parents have beautiful natures being calm, gentle, confident, friendly to all and they just love affection! Dogs Nz registered pups ready for new homes as of the 11th December. Available are 2 red girl and maybe red dapple boy. Parents are Nz Champions and mother imported from Australia. Pups will be sold with endorsed papers. Both parents have had full DNA profiles done.

Raised under Puppy Culture methods so you will be getting the best behaved & trained puppy you could get. I have available 1 girl & 2 boys 1 is black and cream and 2 are black and tans. They will be clicker trained. They are trained drop, touch and recall. They will be using doggie door to go out to the toilet. They will be trying to use ramps, been in the car& been in a puppy pram, They are on a raw food diet. They will be 12 weeks old before they go to the new homes.
