We have owned bred and shown Chessies for 17 years here in the Illawarra of New South Wales.All our dogs are raised as pets and are house dogs.We thank Tenarda, Stormbay , Crowlee and Bamgyps kennels for their wonderfully bred dogs that have contributed to the Chessiehaven dog linage .In this time we have bred several litters and these have produced champions (Thanks to Margaret Wedgewood) .

Breeder of the 1st live litter of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in Australia. Having imported the 1st bitch into this country with Hank and Betty Dobrowolski- 1st female titled Cheasapeake Bay Retriever in Australia and the dam of the 1st Chesapeake Bay Retriever to win a Best in Group in this country. Winning BIG at Brisbane Royal and following it up with 2 more BIGs under international Gundog Specialists - "Rebel" epitomised the quality and character of this great breed.

Many "Tenarda" CBRs have achieved success in several fields of endeavour. Tragically 2009 saw the loss of our beautiful leading lady "Aust Ch Tenarda Firefly" - "Lulu".(Pictured)

In late August 2010 Crowlee No Regrets "Tilly" joined our K9 family and caught the eye of judges in very short order - it will be interesting to see what 2012 holds for "Tilly" and myself as she prepares for motherhood.

2011 saw the arrival of a new little lady - "Brandy" debuted in late March and she is a fun dog to show and is well on her way to her title - special thanks to John and Dan Stafford for this great girl.

2011 also saw the arrival of "Tyler" - Aust Ch Stormbay Pacific Privateer (Imp NZ) and we are grateful to Denise Crowley for letting this fun loving boy come into our lives. 2018 sees him living in retirement amongst his K9 Ladies.

Our Sharbae Rose of Tenarda (Imo UK)(Rose) arrived out of Quarantine 17/06/18 and has quickly made and impression winning JIG just 6 days after joining us. Watch this space!!!!

Webfoot Chesapeakes concentrate on outstanding retrieving ability while also exhibiting sound, dual purpose dogs in the show ring. In 2007, homebred DUAL CHAMPION (Retrieving) Tenarda Firecracker ('Cracker') completed the AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL RETRIEVING TRIAL, being one of 8 finishers, out of 59 dogs. He was BEST MINOR BREED in the Trial. In 2008 AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION Webfoot Bear River won the DOGZONLINE NATIONAL BREED POINTSCORE Competition and also won the RISING STAR Award. Archie is a top of the standard male with a rich mahogany coat, rarely seen in the Tervueren in Australia. Imported from Bergerac de hu kennels in Hungary, this kennel regularly produces world class Agility dogs who can also compete in IGP. Archie has the sound temperament we have come to expect from this kennel, with strong but controllable drives ingrained in his pedigree. He is a clear headed dog with great confidence and kindness.

Samara has a wonderful and calm temperament and is my sisters constant companion and guardian. Puppies from Samara's previous litters have shown nice even temperaments and many are excelling at various sports. Graded Excellent consistently at Specialty Shows, Samara is towards the top of the breed standard and produces puppies of excellent type and structure.

Feroz Lyra is Personal Protection dog who lives within our family environment with our young children and small family pets.  Lyra is used to protect our family, business and possessions. She can be set up with our children in an outdoor environment to guard and keep a close watch over them.  She is also used on my work sites to protect tools and the site.  In the event of intruders she will take a defence position against them and assist them into a position (unharmed of course) for further instruction from myself.  Lyra comes from a proven lineage of working dogs.

Feroz Rip is the sire of this litter, his grandsire is Arracks Home Laser who is KNPV ((Accredited with the Belgian Police). They are great family dogs with stable temperaments.   Culaidir Zethus comes from a family of correctional, security and sporting dogs. Feroz Rip possess these wonderful lines he is a big athletic dog with beautiful strong colours,  full black mask and chest. Lyra and Rip possess KNPV lines and those sort out dark genetics.  Rip has a strong drive and protective instincts.
These puppy's will be registered with Dogs Qld on full Mains, pups will be microchipped and vaccinated at 6 weeks, wormed every 2 weeks.
