Liyambai Cocker Spaniels is a small, family breeder of gorgeous solid colour cocker spaniels. We are located in Townsville, in beautiful north Queensland.

Established in the early 1980s by my dad, Nigel, we have been breeding cocker spaniels for over 40 years. My aunt still breeds cocker spaniels and working cockers in Wales, UK.

Our first litters in Queensland were out of my darling Hunny (Arrunga Inyanga Hunny), who produced several Champions in the show ring. My first precious golden girl was Scooter (Arrunga Candy Lass). I purchased her from the lovely Noel Boddy, who mentored me to breed and show her.

For the last 20 years I have been raising children (not puppies!), and I am excited to breed cockers again.

All the Liyambai breeding dogs have been DNA tested and puppies will not be affected by PRA, FN, AHRN or AON.

We currently have one breeding female and one handsome boy who is available at stud. All our cocker spaniels live in our homes and sleep in our beds and on our couches. They are part of our family! Our two girls (Hunny, and Holly, who is now retired) live with us in Townsville, and our boy (Archie) is living his best life at Bribie Island near Brisbane.

Shelpin is a home based kennel operated by Shellie Galpin. We are based in the Northern region of Brisbane with only occasional litters of puppies available.

After having loved and treasured cocker spaniel family members for several years, we decided the timing was right to expand into showing and more recently breeding. I have a particular emphasis in health testing, including the new testing available for AON as well of course as PRA and FN. I will sometimes have limited litters of various colours in Roans and parti colours, as well as perhaps solids.

Our puppies are carefully raised in a family environment in order that they should go on to display the values that our own cockers have of family, temperament and intelligence. Do not hesitate to contact me to discuss when my next litter of little treasures may be available, I prefer to be contacted by email as playing with cocker spaniel puppies can be hard to tear myself away from to chat unless we arrange a time.

Puppies are raised in my home, with love, time and attention from the very beginning. I have strong beliefs in raising well socialised and friendly puppies that leave my care ready to become beloved members of their forever families.

We are excited to announce we are taking EOI on 1 beautiful litters of babies due the end of August. We are expecting all babies to be gold.

Both parents are full breed DNA tested, with specialist checks annually (Heart and Eyes). Our puppies are raised inside and fed premium foods. They are exposed to all the noises and chaos of a busy family home so are well adjusted confident babies. They will be microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked prior to leaving here. Wormed at 2,4,6, and 8 weeks.

We start toilet training so by the time they go home they should have a good idea of what to do. Our babies will leave here with a puppy pack to help get them settled, and lifetime support.

Interstate transport can be arranged and we are happy to help assist in organising that.

I have finally made my difficult choice between two show potential puppies and now have this gorgeous solid black boy available to a loving home.

Disco is 9 weeks old and ready to leave for his new home now. This little man has been fully DNA tested CLEAR of breed diseases, so will give a family many years of love and companionship.

He comes with Mains or Limited Register and a comprehensive Puppy Pack to help transition him into his new home.

He has had his first vaccination and vet check, and regular fortnight worming. His microchip details will be transferred to new owner.

Beautiful strong healthy pups available to special pet homes only and not for breeding. Parents have full breed DNA testing from Orivet so pups will not develop any traits tested for. Raised inside our home with a temperature controlled environment, plenty of comfort, exposure to children and other pets. These darlings are receiving loads of attention, cuddles, premium food and the best care possible.

Families will receive regular photo's and updates and we are very happy to video call to show you where pups are growing up and so you can meet the dam and sire as well. We don't accept home visits before pups are vaccinated due to the risk of parvo virus.
