Our aim at Darkcrush is to produce sound, typical Bernese who can perform in the show & obedience rings, yet ultimately be faithful family companions for both ourselves & our puppy buyers.

We screen our breeding stock for Hip & Elbow Displaysia (AVA xray scoring after 12mths of age), Von Willebrands Disease (VwD), & Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) for both genes (SOD1A & SOD1B). We can talk you through the pedigrees of our dogs incl. lifespans & any known health issues.

Bernese world-wide have a lifespan of just shy of 8 yrs, so please do your research into the breed before purchasing as they will not suit everyone. Please beware of scammers & non-reputable breeders!! Facebook posts saying "available now" are not legit!

I am an ANKC breeder registered with DOGS Victoria and sell all pups on Limited papers between 8-12 weeks of age. As a small breeder wait times for puppies may vary (I do not keep a wait list). I ask that you please only call me on Saturdays, or between 4pm-7pm weekdays. If I do not answer, PLEASE leave a voicemail.

Please note that I do not sell pups interstate.

NOTE: We (along with all other breeders) are inundated with people contacting us for puppies. It may take me a while to reply, even up to a few months. I own a business and have two young kids. Breeding is something I do in my spare time, which I don’t have much of so please be patient.

Valkirie is home to beautiful Bernese who are of excellent health and sound temperaments. All of our dogs are hip and elbow scored and health tested.

We are a small kennel where our dogs are much loved members of the family. True to the breed, our Berners are social, loyal, affectionate, confident, fun loving and above all healthy dogs who bring nothing but joy to our lives. We have no doubt our pups will bring the same joy and happiness into the lives of their new families too.

Our home is made up of two Bernese, Fallon and Saxon, a Chocolate Labrador, Freya, a cat, Jynx, lots of chickens and two little (human) boys. Our puppies are raised in our home, offered many social and habitual experiences before leaving for their new homes and only the best of homes will be considered for our babies.

German Sheperd puppies: Applications open.

On the 6th of October 2024 we welcomed seven gorgeous puppies from our beautiful - Chloelle Accurate Kuda and our handsome - Nighthaven Lawrence. We currently have 4 males and 3 females with the majority being pure black.

Both parents have low hip and elbow scores and have been DNA tested -Degenerative Myeelopathy clear. This is her first litter with all puppies gaining the required weight daily.

These puppies will go to their new homes after the 1st of December. They will go to their new homes with their first vaccinations, microchipping, health checks, Worming and blackhawk canine pack. As well as registration with ANKC certificate, nutrition, training and general health
