Strikeness Sighthounds, established in 1980, seriously concentrating on Borzoi since 2002. Our aims are to rear healthy hounds along the principles of Juliette de Bairacli Levy. We seek to breed honest hounds with good hunting instincts that can do the job they were designed for. To do this we think type, balance and temperament important. Dogs that can hunt, course and win in the ring. For us and for others. For the past few years dogs carrying the Strikeness prefix have consistently taken top honours in the NZ Borzoi pointscore as well as in the breed on Dogzonline pointscore. Cloudland Borzoi established 2018 – however, I have been owned by the breed since 2005. Cloudland dogs are health tested for degenerative myopathy, cardiac, thyroid, eye and are also DNA profiled.
