Our residence surrounded by tropical gardens affords our Bassets freedom of movement at all times in this lovely coastal environment. Lineage/bloodline details of our Bassets are available on request. Our newborns have a thorough Vet health check post birth and again at 6 weeks of age when, at this Vet visit, they have their microchip inserted along with their C4 Mandatory Vaccination. Our Pup's worm protection is also commenced from 2 weeks of age. We are appreciative of those based interstate and intrastate who have chosen to be “Owned or Re-owned by a Basset” and have selected one of our youngsters to help them along this path. LOWSET

We are located on a small acreage in the Wide Bay Region of Queensland. Where our Bassets enjoy our home life and their kennels. Since 2008 we have enjoyed a number of successes in the Show ring, Breeding our dogs that have won Best in Groups and Shows and culminating in Best of Breed/Group Winner at the Brisbane Royal "EKKA" with my Girl Lowset Our Queen Victoria. Our focus is Breeding Bassets for type, conformation, bone and a wonderful temperament. Importantly our Breeding program only includes those that have been ANKC eye tested and approved. Going some way to future proofing the Basset from health issues. Our puppies are born in our home (our bedroom) and are socialised with other animals including our cats and are gradually introduced to the whelping bay by the time they are six weeks old and from there to the grown up kennels. They go through all the required pre-approvals before they go to there forever home and are micro-chipped, vaccinated, wormed, Dogs Queensland Registered, DNA tested, Vet Checked and provided with a personalised Lowset Puppy and Advance Puppy Pack. I encourage all purchasers to contact me should they be unable to care for their Basset so that I might be able to re-home where ever possible We are not frequent breeders and breed mainly for ourselves to have a dog/bitch to Show in the ring as this has become a favourite past time. ARDENMYST

AMMIDAN

Established in 1971, we have bred many Australian Champions. Some of our greatest achievements include winning Champion of Champions with Aust Ch Ammidan Star Time ("Star") and Best in Show at the Brisbane Royal National Agricultural (RNA) show, the "EKKA", in 1992 with Grand Champion Ammidan Casino Royale ("Sassy"). We have also won Best in Group for the Hound Group at the Brisbane Royal with Supreme Ch Ammidan Abrahamm ("Abrahamm") and Reserve in Group with Ammidan CC Bella Donna (AI). We also recently won Best In Show at the Basset Hound National Show held in Victoria in November 2023 with Ch Ammidan CC Bella Rosa (AI). We take great pride in breeding sound dogs, and as a result of this have had major wins in most Australian states, with our Kennel name appearing on many winning dogs throughout this country and overseas, which is something we are very proud of. Our pedigrees are of the highest standard and quality, with blood lines including dogs imported from the United States of America, England, and Ireland, and many of our animals living overseas. We have a litter of puppies born 15 October 2024 (grandchildren of Bella Rosa, current Australian National Champion). They will be available for their new homes in the first few weeks of December. Expressions of interest are being taken now. We may have more puppies available early in the new year, depending on successful matings. THELMAE

Small family raised kennel where our bassets are a part of our family. We believe in breeding healthy, conformationally correct, beautiful tempered examples of the breed. Our bassets are with us as part of our family - you'll find them holidaying with us, travelling with us for work, and in general seeing what mischief they can get into around the farm. We show our dogs and also enjoy different training pursuits with them. While we breed mainly for ourselves, we may occasionally have puppies available to the best of homes.

TRIPHAZARD

We are a small kennel located in the quiet town of Keppel sands QLD on a small farm. We enjoy show casing our bassets in confirmation dog shows. They also enjoy life on and around our fame with our children and other animals

LOWANLONG

Welcome to LOWANLONG Hounds. We are a young family located in South East Queensland on a beef cattle property with our basset hounds and dachshunds. We will not be having any litters until 2025. All information in regards to puppies can be seen on our website. Puppies go to new homes no earlier than 10wks of age with first vaccinations, full vet checks, worming, tick and flea prevention - along with generous puppy packs. PET ONLY HOMES. Alice our lovely tri coloured girl is growing beautifully! We have such high hopes for this young lady and she is already doing us proud. Her conformation and temperament are exceptional!

MUDBASSETS

Mudbassets has successfully found new families for Ren's puppies, thankyou for all the enquiries. Both pedigree parents were vet checked, and tested before breeding, by QVS Stafford. They are our preferred specialists for basset breeding. All our Puppies are looked after by the great staff at Vetcall Mudgeeraba. Awesome people, always ready to help. We have a life long love of the breed. They are our fur family, we presently have 2 beautiful girls, that came from a great breeder down Melbourne way. Ren and Stimpy are sisters, this is Ren's first litter, 5 puppies. We are keeping a girl for the next generation in a few years. We are on acreage at Mudgeeraba in rhe Gold Coast hinterland. We have had Bassets for over 40 yrs, they are a great breed, friendly kid safe and also great guard dogs. They growup with our cats n birds, and the local wildlife.
