We are a select kennel that have been successfully breeding top quality show winning bassets hounds for the past 40 years and are home to Am & Aust Ch Topsfield Sanchu King of Queens (IMP USA), Am Grand and Aust Ch Topsfield Sanchu Cannoli in co ownership with Longbay bassets and were home to Aust Grand & Am Ch Vahhala's Dreamchaser (IMP USA) now deceased. "Beauchasseur" aim to breed quality bassets that conform to the breed standard and are sound in body and mind. We have home bred Champions in Australia, America, Japan and New Zealand. Our puppies are country reared in a family environment and are well socialised with children and other animals. All pups leaving us go with an Advance starter puppy pack are wormed vaccinated microchipped and vet health checked. We also have a desexing contract with our companion pups. We sometimes have show quality and/or companion pups available and welcome all genuine enquiries. We are happy to board back our pups so you can relax and enjoy your holiday knowing your basset is safe and being cared for and loved. At Bayparque we strive to produce Bassets that are sound, healthy and have fabulous temperaments. We have incorporated into our kennel what we believe are some of the best Australian, American and NZ bloodlines. All of these kennels produce consistent winners in the show ring and amazing family companions. All our puppies are brought up in the house and are well socialised with cats and people. Kamahi - Established 1974 Ms Brenda Howell & Ms Meaghan Cooper Breeding Smooth and Miniature Smooth Dachshunds, with the addition of Basset Hounds in 2008. Collectively as a mother/daughter duo under the Kamahi prefix have over 80 years combined breeding experience, showing and handling to various titles of Australian, Grand and Supreme Champions winning multi Best in Show, Best in Hound Group and Best Class in Show awards at both All Breed and Speciality shows, including Best in Hound Group placements at numerous Royals, under Judges here in Australian and from around the world. Small family raised kennel where our bassets are a part of our family. We believe in breeding healthy, conformationally correct, beautiful tempered examples of the breed. Our bassets are with us as part of our family - you'll find them holidaying with us, travelling with us for work, and in general seeing what mischief they can get into around the farm. We show our dogs and also enjoy different training pursuits with them. While we breed mainly for ourselves, we may occasionally have puppies available to the best of homes.

Established in 1971, we have bred many Australian Champions. Some of our greatest achievements include winning Champion of Champions with Aust Ch Ammidan Star Time ("Star") and Best in Show at the Brisbane Royal National Agricultural (RNA) show, the "EKKA", in 1992 with Grand Champion Ammidan Casino Royale ("Sassy"). We have also won Best in Group for the Hound Group at the Brisbane Royal with Supreme Ch Ammidan Abrahamm ("Abrahamm") and Reserve in Group with Ammidan CC Bella Donna (AI). We also recently won Best In Show at the Basset Hound National Show held in Victoria in November 2023 with Ch Ammidan CC Bella Rosa (AI). We take great pride in breeding sound dogs, and as a result of this have had major wins in most Australian states, with our Kennel name appearing on many winning dogs throughout this country and overseas, which is something we are very proud of. Our pedigrees are of the highest standard and quality, with blood lines including dogs imported from the United States of America, England, and Ireland, and many of our animals living overseas. We have a litter of puppies born 15 October 2024 (grandchildren of Bella Rosa, current Australian National Champion). They will be available for their new homes in the first few weeks of December. Expressions of interest are being taken now. We may have more puppies available early in the new year, depending on successful matings. We currently have three tri colour female puppies that are ready to go to their new homes now (just in time for Christmas). The cost of our puppies is $3.500 and that includes registration (full registration with Dogs Qld), immunisation, micro-chipping, chiropractor check and a vet check prior to departure. Our pedigrees are of the highest standard and quality, with blood lines including dogs imported from the United States of America, England, and Ireland. We take great pride in breeding sound basset hounds, and as a result of this have had major wins in many states, and our Kennel name appearing on many winning dogs throughout this country and overseas, which is something we are very proud of. We have 50 years of trouble free breeding and have clean lines as we have been very careful with what we have used to improve the breed. Some of our more recent successes include winning Best In Show at the Basset Hound National Show held in Victoria in November 2023, Best in Show at both the Qld and NSW Basset Hound Club Championship shows as well as Best of Breed at both shows held at the Brisbane Royal in 2024.
