Having owned Basset Hounds for over 40 years, our goal is to also help others enjoy the breed. We are located on a small acreage property in South Gippsland, Victoria and our Bassets are part of our home. All puppies have Registration Papers and will leave Microchipped, Vaccinated, Wormed, Vet checked and with a Starter Puppy Kit. We are on Facebook under 'Clementess Basset Hounds' and we are registered members of Dogs Victoria.

At Karma Spirit we believe in producing healthy, good structured puppies and dogs with wonderful temperaments for both show and home. We live on a small acreage property in the Grampians Region of Victoria. Our dogs are family first and show dogs second. Our puppies are hand raised in the home with lots of love and socialised with our family and friends, our other dogs and our cat. All puppies go to their new homes vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and with registration papers. We also include a puppy starter pack.

Kamahi - Established 1974 Ms Brenda Howell & Ms Meaghan Cooper Breeding Smooth and Miniature Smooth Dachshunds, with the addition of Basset Hounds in 2008. Collectively as a mother/daughter duo under the Kamahi prefix have over 80 years combined breeding experience, showing and handling to various titles of Australian, Grand and Supreme Champions winning multi Best in Show, Best in Hound Group and Best Class in Show awards at both All Breed and Speciality shows, including Best in Hound Group placements at numerous Royals, under Judges here in Australian and from around the world. She is currently the President of the Hound Club of Victoria, Vice President of the Basset Hound Club of Victoria and Committee Member of Dachshund Club of Victoria and serves as a qualified VCA Representative for DogsVictoria. I am a Long-standing dedicated Basset Hound breeder, having successfully exhibited my Bassets at not only Breed Specialty shows, but also All Breed Shows. My first Basset came into my life in late 1969, and for the past 50 plus years, Basset Hounds have continued to be much loved family companions. I am a Life Member of the Basset Hound Club of Victoria Inc, Member of Basset Hound Club of NSW, and a member of Dogs Victoria (affiliated Dogs Australia/ANKC). I am an experienced ANKC licenced judge for Hounds (group 4); Gundogs (Group 3); Working Dog (Group 5) and Non-sporting (Group 7), and regularly judge these breeds, not only in Australia, but also New Zealand, and the USA. I have also judged Basset Hounds at Breed Speciality Championship Shows not only within Australia, but also New Zealand, the UK as well as the USA. Thoughtfully bred, and lovingly raised puppies from health tested parents, are occasionally available to good homes only.

I have been involved with Basset Hounds for 40 years and have in that time Bred Australian Champions and Australian Supreme Champions who have won over 30 x Best Exhibit In Show awards , as well as 19 x Basset Hound Specialty Best in Show awards under Australian and International Judges . I am a licensed Hound & Gundog Group Judge and currently a Trainee Judge in the working Dog Group. A Member of the Victorian & NSW Basset Hound Clubs and Dogs Victoria Inc . We currently have a litter of tri colour puppies that will be ready to go into their new homes before Christmas. The cost of our puppies is $3.500 and that includes registration, immunisation, micro-chipping and vet check prior to departure. We take great pride in breeding sound dogs, and as a result of this have had major wins in most Australian states, with our Kennel name appearing on many winning dogs throughout this country and overseas, which is something we are very proud of. Our pedigrees are of the highest standard and quality, with blood lines including dogs imported from the United States of America, England, and Ireland, and many of our animals living overseas. Some of our more recent successes include winning Best In Show at the Basset Hound National Show held in Victoria in November 2023, Best in Show at both the Qld and NSW Basset Hound Club Championship shows as well as Best of Breed at both shows held at the Brisbane Royal in 2024.
