Our Aussies are part of the family and we believe a house is not a home without an Aussie or three. We prefer our puppies go to homes that understand that a dog is part of family. Our pups are lovingly handled from the minute they are born. Our puppies are all sold with Purebred Pedigree Papers, DNA tested, First Vaccinations, Microchipped, and Wormed. MATERMARIA has been breeding and promoting our own Australian breed - the Australian Terrier - for over 40 years. Founded originally to assist with communication and provide a happy atmosphere in a NSW Secondary College Matermaria Aussies have over the years been loved by children in schools in NSW, WA and on stations in Nth Queensland. Commencing with dogs from the famous Tahee Kennel and with help from some of the early breeders Matermaria has learnt much about the Aussie. Always striving to keep to the standard, we have tried to breed the best to the best producing lovely, healthy, well socialised puppies bringing joy to many homes.

Having had Australian Terriers as pets, and loving the breed I'm now in the position to breed my favorite dogs. Work commitments in the past have stopped me showing my dogs, but it is a future plan. Tuckombil Kennel has owned and bred Australian Terriers for 15 years and we love the breed for its innumerable positive qualities. Apart from its very good looks, the Aussie is just as happy living on the farm or in town and adapts comfortably from very active to quieter lifestyles. Australian Terriers are very much at home in young families and will share affection liberally with all family members. We believe that prioritising even temperaments and sound conformation are essential elements in responsible dog breeding.

Southern (Invercargill) breeder of Australian Terries. I have my foundation bitch and dog that both have a good mix of red and blue genes. My dogs are part of my family and have indoor and outdoor living options. I am an experienced breeder that always put the welfare of her dogs first. This is my first opportunity to have registered pedigree dogs. I feel in love with the Australian Terrier after obtaining my first one in 2021, after losing my sweet little Yorkies. They have such a great personality and love sharing their stories.

I was born into the dog world having been involved in Labradors with Field trialling with my parents. I ventured out getting involved with Terriers in 1992 with my first Bull Terrier which I am still involved in and love. However the Australian terrier joined my family and we have never looked back, this hardy breed that really are a big dog in a small package, are the love of my life. They are very much part of my household in every way. I am very lucky to have my daughter Aimee Pycroft Involved with my kennels in both breeding and showing. We are involved in Canterbury Juniors Kennel Society and United Bull breeds. The love of showing allows us to promote this wonderful breed, and now I am lucky enough to be licenced to judge all terriers at champ show level. We work hard to produce Australian Terriers that conform to the standard and are fit for purpose. We are always happy to talk Australian Terriers to anyone wanting to learn. We have owned and loved at least one Australian Terrier for over 50 years all of them the rare Red coated Aussies. Our doggies have helped raise our children and they protect our house from predators such as snakes mice and rats etc. They are real characters and we have grown to love each with its own personality adopting all our friends and children as their own. They are true Aussies requiring little grooming and no clipping is required. Our puppies are from DNA tested stock, vaccinated, vet checked and wormed ready for their new adventure with you.
