We are looking for a 'retirement home' for an 8 year old grey and white male. Gilbert, or Gilby as he is affectionately known, was bred by myself in Canada and spent a year in the Yukon learning to be a sled dog and attained his working lead dog title. Once he was old enough he joined us here in Australia and has been an integral part of our team for the past 6 years.

We have made the tough decision that it is in his best interest to find a couch for Gilbert to call his own. He would do best in a household that does not have young children. He would love a female dog as a companion. Cats and pocket pets are a definite no. Gilbert still has a lot of active years left and would be well suited to someone who wants an exercise buddy! His family in the Yukon were still running 1000 mile races into their double digits so he has lots left in the tank! That said he is a sweet and cuddly boy and would be happy being around his person.
