MAGGIE
Maggie would be ideal for any family or a couple or single.
If you are looking for an active Border Collie who loves spending time with her family and doing activities.
She is ready to give herself to her new family, she does require people who believe in themselves! (like any border collie) She is great with kids but does like to be a leader of other dogs.

Training, she sits, lies down and shakes hands. Is toilet trained,
Her recall will come once she has given her trust to you as her leader as will her lead work.

She is being rehomed due to no fault of hers. (One of her little humans became allergic to dog hair, so as per my puppy agreement she came back home to us at Rivermaid.)
No dog of ours is to end up at the RSPCA or a pound, that is the promise I make to all Rivermaid pups/dogs.

We have available to the right home 2 older males, a 6yo black and white and a 5yo Red and White. We are happy to consider show/breeding homes, or a family home where they can get all the love and attention, where we will desex after a trial period. Both are used to company so preference is given to homes where someone is home a lot or there is another dog.

Neither are used to young children so would prefer no toddlers however children older than around 9 would be fine.

Both are up to date with vaccinations, worming and tick treatments. Both are also fully health tested.

We would prefer potential new homes are able to meet our guys in person so must be able to travel to the North Coast of NSW for a meet and greet.

We currently have a 5 (nearly 6) year old desexed black & white male dog in need of a new home due to owners change of circumstances. Japser needs a home where he is the only dog, as while he is good with other dogs out and about, he isn't keen on living with other dogs. He loves a good cuddle but also likes his space, he’ll happily just sit on your feet, or the other side of the couch. He’d fit in perfectly with a family who want a cuddly and playful companion. A family that will be able to take him out to the lake, bush walks etc as he loves being outdoors, swimming and exploring. He loves teenagers and has been around children aged 8 years plus.

This is "Red", she is a four year old red and white registered Border Collie.

She is very placid, easy going and quiet. Red is very patient and kind with our young son. She gets on well with the rest of our dogs. Many people comment on her beautiful nature.

She's super obedient, well trained and is easily trainable. She would love to spend time with a family and other dogs but also happy to be on her own. Only selling because we have too many young ones.

You will need a secure yard because she will likely decide to head home until she settles in.

She is desexed. Comes with papers. $1000.

If she doesn't suit, we're happy to have her back.
