In August 2006 we moved with our dogs to Australia to continue breeding with these great bloodlines so that people here could see what a real Cane Corso looks like. The breed was established in the FCI (World Canine Organisation) in 1996 in group 2 and received its standard in 1999. In Australia this breed has been registered as the 52nd breed in the ANKC in group 6 since 2003. The Italian Corso Dog is a medium to large sized dog with a wonderful nature: calm and gentle at home, playful, well-behaved and reliable in public, but also very protective.
