Located in southern NSW near Albury, this is a small, select kennel, established in 1995, which has successfully combined top Australian blood lines with those of recent American imports.

Martyn Dobermann Stud has been established since 1970, and we are the oldest established Dobermann breeders in New Zealand. To date we have bred over 70 Champion Dobermanns and seven Grand Champion Dobermanns in New Zealand, being the first breeders to have a Grand Champion Dobermann registered with the New Zealand Kennel Club. We also have an American Champion to our name, being the only Dobermann kennel to achieve this in the history of the breed plus many Australian Champions.

We,together with our children, have imported four American Dobermanns from the USA, and have currently in the frozen semen bank from the USA, the choice of ten top American male Dobermann's for our on going breeding program. We have achieved numerous awards at both All Breed Champion Shows and Dobermann Specialists Shows. One of our major achievements would be having bred the winner of the 1996 Australian Dobermann Nationals, where Australian Champion Martyn Double Trouble (Imp NZ) - Bitch won Best In Show over 316 Australian Dobermann's. To date Martyn Dobermanns have won in excess of 250 All Breeds Best In Shows at all levels of competition. Some other important wins were the Dog of the Year Pal Top Dog 1993 and Runner up in 1994.

Martyn is one of only two New Zealand Dobermann Specialist Judges and has adjudicated four times in the USA, also in Malaysia, Philippines, nearly every state in Australia, New Zealand and Martyn has judged the Japanese Specialty.
