I admit to spending many an hour with elbows on kitchen bench just watching them... or sitting with them in the sun on the verandah... It is also gorgeous to watch them sprinting around the house one way and then the other... lost in the joy of their games... frankly often oblivious to outside stimulation... Oh well can't tell I'm obsessed much can you?

We are very proud of our little family of Cavaliers. To date (August '08), we have only bred nine litters, producing EIGHT Champions, including an All Breeds Ch BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW winner (entry 1174).

We are committed to a positive contribution toward the future of our gorgeous breed and our Cavaliers are examined by Dr Russell Mitten for their official heart certification at a Heart Clinic conducted each year here in SA.

Our dogs are treasured family members, sharing our home with us rather than outside kennels. Timokym Kennels is a small exhibiting and breeding kennel in South Australia, established in 1992.

We are a small kennel in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We breed for soundness and specialise in party colours, especially tricolours, our favourites. We generally have only one or two litters per year. Our pups are raised entirely inside and are used, from birth, to being handled by humans. Frequent visits from our grandchildren ensures that our pups are used to children.

We still have the matriarch of our family, who appears in all of our pedigrees, living with us at 11 years of age and medication free.

All of our pups are health checked and vaccinated and introduced to the concept of house training before leaving us. We do, however, recommend to all of our puppy purchasers that they seek a veterinary opinion as soon as possible after the take delivery of their new pups.

We have been lucky enough to have imported a lovely tricolour dog from England - Avalcier Nicholas. He is beautifully bred and has some top winning English cavaliers including Ch. After only being in the breed a little over six years, we have recently titled our ninth Australian Champion Cavalier. Eight of these have been from just five of our own litters, (plus our first boy of course)! We live on a small farm in north-west NSW, where our dogs have plenty of room to run and play, fresh air, good food and water and plenty of attention. They love showing just about as much as we do. We will probably breed between two and four litters each year, and from these we will hopefully have a few to show, plus a few puppies for sale. Older dogs will also be for sale occasionally. Potential adoptive families, should be prepared for the "third degree" as we want only the best homes for our puppies and older dogs, who are all sold as family pets. All our breeding dogs are heart and eye certified by specialist Vets. Health and temperament are our priorities, combined with correct conformation and type.

Our puppies are reared in the home and our stud dogs are availiable in all four colours. Our stud dogs & puppies have been bred down from the top English bloodlines of Homerbrent, Salador, Alansmere,Choya & others.
We believe that we were probably the firstCavalier King Charles Spaniel kennel to produce puppies here in Australia from imported frozen semen when in 1991 two puppies were born (Cliveden Celtic Princess and Cliveden Jayne Seymour) using semen donated in 1986 by the famous Ch Salador Celtic Prince (U.K).
