TIRRIKI, est. 1971: Peter has selected the Border Terrier as our Senior Citizen's breed. Recommended by the breeder of our Irish Water Spaniels' Irish breeder as a breed that would get on well with our IWS, we have taken the plunge. My first Border Terrier was from Rosmary Williamson of Patterdale Border Terriers, Ch Teca of Patterdale.
Tennille Borders has bred over 15 NZ Champions and 3 Australia Champions, I am very grateful to Rosemary for helping me start in this wonderful breed and also to Robert Bartram of Craigend Border Terriers for looking after and showing to his Aussie title NZ & Aust Ch Tennile Howzat Hadlee.I am also gratefull to Robertfor letting me use at stud Ch Craingend Cheviot Piper and for sending to New Zealand for me to campaign Aust & NZ Ch Craigend Chowchilla. Also a thank you to E Davies, R Knox and L Corbett, who owned Aust & NZ Ch Brigand of Brokhole and Lynsett (Brig) he was a lovley dog and did so much for the Breed here in New Zealand and in Australia. Using these dogs helped me improve my Borders so so much. Breeding Ch Sure Shot of Tennille ADX the first Border Terrier in New Zealand to achive this title. We now have 3 generations of Border Terrier bitches at home the old girl (Brooke)Ch Proud of it of Tennille (ex Aust & NZ Ch Craigend Cheviot Piper and Ch Tennille My Sweet Dove) then we have Asia and Daughter of Brooke out of (Aust & NZ Ch Craigend Chowchilla) and Asia's Daughter China out of Dandyhow Golden Wonder (imp-UK).
