Tjuringa have successfully bred show dogs and pets as well as some outstanding obedience champions since 1967.At September 1st 2008 Tjuringa is Australia's BEST BREEDER of Terriers and in the top 10 all breeds. Champion stud dogs to approved bitches (hip xray suitable)including American import, Ch.Brisline's Play Boy as well as home bred Ch.Tjuringa Masterpiece, Ch.Tjuringa Moulten Iron, Tjuringa Romper Stomper, Tjuringa Rising High and Ch Tjuringa Firecracker. Tjuringa Airedales are well acknowledged for quality as loving family companions or champions in the show ring. We are experienced in shipping interstate and overseas. Pups available occassionally. A most successful kennel at many major Shows. Champion Tjuringa Firecracker is Airedale Club as well as a Royal Best in Show winner. (Hobart 2006 under Mrs Elena Spector from Argentina) Only two Airedales ever have won capital city Royal Show Best in Show. Bang is the first and only at Hobart. Currently Tjuringa Airedales and Welsh Terriers are significant in the top show dogs in Australia point score 2008. Ch Tjuringa Moulten Iron is our most recent Best IN Show winner at The Airedale Specialty Show. Keith Lovell is internationally respected as a specialist Airedale and All Terrier judge actually licensed to judge over 100 breeds over four Australian groups. Keith judges Best in Show internationally and this year judged at The World Terrier Specialties held in Sweden as well as The National Terrier Club Portugal.

We are closely linked with KARUDON and AVODEN kennels in the UK, both having over 30 years of sound breeding history. Our UK import Eng/Aus. Ch. AVODEN Shooting Star "Klondike" has been used at stud in the UK and Australia with excellent results.
