Steadfast Border Collies are located at Waurn Ponds - a suburb of Geelong, just before Torquay and is the gateway to the Surf Coast. I have a backyard devoted to my Border Collies and 3 children. All dogs are raised in a loving, family environment and are used to younger and older children, cats and other breeds of dogs. They enjoy a jog daily and actively participate in conformation shows and Obedience training. I have stud dogs, bitches and puppies available for you to view and have puppies available for sale occasionally. Steadfast Border Collies enjoy great success in the conformation ring with 19 Australian Champions, Endurance titled dogs and some Obedience titled dogs to my credit. I have exported a puppy to Mexico and now have a Mexican Champion under my prefix who has sired litters there. I have exported breeding vials to Hungary, South Africa and Scotland with puppies on the ground already. I am experiencing great success with my team at present with 2 Best Of Breeds at Adelaide Royal in 2019 and 2017, Best Exhibit In Group Fourth at Adelaide Royal 2017 and shortlisted for Group in 2019. I was also awarded Best Baby Puppy in Group 5 Adelaide Royal 2019. "Steadfast" Border Collies won 5 of the classes on offer at Royal Adelaide 2019. Madra was also awarded Reserve Challenge and "Steadfast" Border Collies won 4 classes at the prestigious Melbourne Royal in 2019. Hi our names are Nicki and Travis. We are a small kennel located about 90mins south of Adelaide.

Our aim in breeding is to have well adjusted dogs, that will make good family pets and that will be well suited for dog sports. We would like all our puppies sold to participate in some form of training.
All our breeding dogs are hip and elbow scored and DNA tested for all current available diseases.
Our puppies are raised following "puppy culture" and we also incorporate exercises from Susan Garret's "Puppy Peaks"
Puppies come vaccinated, wormed, micro-chipped and registered on limited register.
They also come with a MEGA puppy pack including:
Toys, treats, lead, collar, bowl, tug toys, change over food, copies of parents information and health testing, toilet mat, worming tablets, guide to raising a puppy plus support from us here at the kennel here for life! and more!

Puppies are $3000 with a $500 deposit required to secure your puppy. We don't allocate puppies until temperament testing at 7 weeks old. We also don't sell based on colour/markings. Our aim is to find the right dog for the right family. It isn't first in best dressed either, quality homes are our main priority. We do not have puppies often as our main goal is to retain a puppy from each litter to better the next generation and assist other reputable breeders in our joint venture of improving health, temperament and conformation of the breed here in Australia and Overseas.

When we do have a litter, they are raised using ENS and ESI along with a strict adherence to the Puppy Culture Protocols and other socialisation and habituation processes to ensure each puppy will be set up with the skills to adapt to their future lives.
We also start the foundations of toilet training, crate training, obedience, clicker training, grooming, manding and leash walking.

All of our breeding dogs are fully DNA tested to rule out testable genetic diseases. They also have their joints x-rayed to ensure that they will not genetically predispose any puppies to joint issues like Hip Dysplasia.

We currently have a litter born April 2024 out of our gorgeous Aquilla "Xeroth Eta Aquarids" , sired by the handsome Shot "Supreme Champion Nahrof Fire When Ready".
