Wirehaired Slovakian Pointer (also known as the Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer).

Griseus is the first to own, and show a WSP in Sydney NSW. We begin to campaign Boris on the east coast from March 2022.

A bit about the breed:

Weimaraners are the foundation with a mix of rough coated breeds.

The Slovak rough-haired pointer is a breed that originated in interbreeding. The foundation is the Weimaraner, from which the Slovak rough-haired pointer takes its colour and basic character traits.

By crossing the Weimaraner with wire-haired breeds, in particular the Bohemian wire-haired pointing griffon a breed was created of colour and traits similar to those of the Weimaraner, but with a rough coat.

Until 1973, such dogs were entered into the Slovak Stud Book under the breed name Rough-haired Weimaraner. From 1973 onwards, they have been registered as an independent breed and recognised as a FCI breed.

Neringa Miniature Schnauzers is a small personal family endeavour.We have been exhibiting, breeding and loving Miniature Schnauzers for almost 40 years.Our dogs live in the house with us and puppies are raised in their "playpen" in our living room where they receive optimal attention, handling and stimulation.We take pride in breeding quality dogs that excel in conformation performance,dog sports and as family pets.Our goal is to breed Miniature Schnauzers with correct conformation, good health and outstanding temperaments. Both parents have been full profile DNA health tested to ensure that no puppy bred here can develop any of the nasty dna testable diseases that can affect our beautiful breed. Each puppy will be issued with his/her own ANKC pedigree on the Limited Register (not for showing or breeding).

They will be vet checked, will have had their first vaccination and microchip and come with a lovely puppy pack full of information and goodies. They also leave me with a starter life and health insurance policy with Petcover for added peace of mind. My puppies are raised in our home and are well used to children, cats and other dogs.
